Our family bought two new condominiums completed in 2007. We can’t be there all the time, so we’re offering the use of our homes for beach vacations in this sleepy San Carlos bay side village.

The property was perfect and as described. Communication with the owner was prompt. The pictures accurately reflected the condo and it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The condo property is very well kept and beautiful. It was quiet and relaxing and very family friendly. The staff in the office and the gate were extremely friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we looked at available units for sale. Everything in the condo worked as expected. The 100 degree temps outside were tolerable as the a/c kept the entire condo comfortable. Pool was perfect. Only less than favorable comment from the group was “no locks on any of the interior doors including the bathrooms”. Nothing a little communication can’t resolve. Kitchen had everything needed and beds were all comfortable. Great place!

We could not have been happier with this condo! It was clean and beautiful and had everything we needed. It is steps away from the pool and beach and both balconies had views of the ocean! The grounds are well-maintained and the gentlemen at the gate were friendly and professional. We hope to stay here again in the future!

1st rate location, 2nd rate service
There was so much to love about these condos: an amazing ocean view, a huge pool, and plenty of space to escape the sun. Unfortunately my experience with these condos never got off to a great start. I arrived to an unattended/open gate not knowing where to go, I wandered aimlessly looking for an office or worker or anyone for about 15minutes when a maintenance worker found us and explained the security guard (who was not at the gate) had our keys before she agreed to let us in. Later that day a security guard came up to ‘welcome us’ by letting us know he would be bothering us for the rest of our stay if we didn’t move one of our cars outside the gate. I have a big family and took 2 Cars on our trip and even though there was plenty of space inside the property, we agreed to move a car outside the gate.
While the condo was clean there were several things that did not work (control remotes,ice machines, TVs, etc) one important thing being we noticed the AC was leaking water all over the floor in the master bedroom. I immediately alerted the cleaning lady who let us know she would have a maintenance worker look into it. That never happened. The next morning I went to the main office to remind them of the leak as it was not only all over the floors but also leaking onto the furniture in the room, I also reported our door knob was not working correctly. The gentleman at the front desk reassured me everything would get fixed.Nothing I reported even got looked at during my stay. The doorknob got so bad I had a family member stuck for half an hour in the house due to the door knob never getting fixed.I called the security guard to see if he could help and when he failed to get the door to work. We had to take the doorknob off and keep it off for the rest of our time there. Did this place ruin my vacation? No, I had a good time with my family in spite of everything that went wrong. Will I be looking to book any future stays at this condo? Not a chance! Too much trouble to be worth the money!
I find this review interesting as the guest called me to say he could not locate the office to check in, which is one building to the right of the condo.
I have never been there where there was not a guard on duty at the gate to direct guests so I am not sure why this happened.
It is true that only one car per unit can park inside the gate but there is unlimited parking outside the gate.
We do not have the ice maker hooked up because the water is not purified but ice can be purchased at the office. The tv's all work but children of guests often take the batteries out of the remotes for some reason. There are extra batteries in the cabinet.
The master air conditioner will drip water if the temp is placed at a very low temp and the weather is humid. There is no furniture near the air conditioner as seen in the photos. Since the guest called to ask where the office was, I would have appreciated a call to let me know if something was not working correctly and would have followed up to make sure service was received. We do our best to make sure our condo is well stocked and well maintained for our guests as well as for our friends and family as you can see from our prior reviews. I am not saying things don't go wrong at times but I am only a phone call away if something is not right and would have appreciated a call instead of such a negative review.
