These are my dogs Bella and Greta. I bought the cabin in 2012 thinking we would have our weekends to relax in the mountains. Unfortunately, we do not have enough free time to visit and thought we would share it with others.
Sabrina purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Sabrina chose Ellijay
We looked at many properties in Coosawattee but finally stumbled upon this one by accident. We just knew that this cabin was going to be our mountain home away from home.
What makes this Cabin unique
They main attraction to this cabin besides all of the amenities on the property is the rolling creek that flows down the middle of our property. It is quite tranquil and mesmerizing to be sitting on the porch, on the deck or by the fire listening to the sound of the current.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is exactly as it appears in the photos and description. It was especially nice that it was pet friendly. Sabrina was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. A storm went through the area shortly before our stay and knocked out the power to the cabin. She contacted us immediately and we were able to work out arrangements until the power was restored. My only suggestion is to be sure to arrive before it gets too dark. Between the twisty road and location of the cabin it could be difficult to spot. Would definitely stay again!
Nice but too hard to get to.
The cabin was nice and I loved the screened in porch, but getting to and from the cabin was awful. It was peaceful. If you don't want to leave to go eat or visiti the towns, it would be good.
Great cabin in a great location
This is a very nice cabin. It is located in a beautiful and peaceful wooded area. Two bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) and two baths and the sofa folds out into a double bed (futon). Fully stocked kitchen. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Dogs are permitted. Manager Sabrina was very responsive to inquiries and pleasant to work with. She also gave very good directions to the place, which you'll need because the area has a lot of winding roads and GPS may not work too well. Be aware that some of the roads in this resort area are not paved. They are dirt or gravel, some are very steep and bumpy. You should consider an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle for this area. Overall a very good experience. Thanks, Sabrina!
The cabin was in decent condition. The living and sleeping areas were clean. The bathrooms are cozy. The t.v. was small which was hard to watch with the current layout...maybe rearranging furniture could be a solution from the owner. Also, the driveway was a little difficult to maneuver given its gravel material. It was well stocked with dishes and appliances and offers a cozy environment.
We so enjoyed out stay at the Lemmon Drop!! It’s very peaceful and quiet — the house is tucked away in the neighborhood so you really feel like you are getting away. The sound of the creek was amazing too! There is plenty hiking and other outdoor activities nearby — we’d love to stay here again if we have an opportunity to! Sabrina was so friendly and responsive - truly a pleasure renting from her!
