About Jon Gunderson

We are a young, active couple who reside in Minnesota with our Flat-Coated Retrievers.

Jon Gunderson purchased this townhome in 2011

Why Jon Gunderson chose Utah

We love to ski and hike. After visiting friends in Brian Head, we fell in love with the town, the ski resort, and Snowshoe Village.

What makes this townhome unique

This is one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations in town--Snowshoe 7B is a private townhome with one shared wall and floor to ceiling windows. We have an expanded deck and are in close proximity to hiking or mountain biking in the summer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Jon,

Thanks again for the great place to stay. We’re talking about coming back again. We try to get a ski trip in about every 2 years. We want you to know that we have done several of these VRBO rentals and this has been the best location, best cared for, best laid out, most comfortable place we have stayed. We thank you for the thought you have put into making our stay as pleasant as possible.

This cabin is the perfect getaway for whatever season you're looking to getaway to. We stayed there almost 3 years ago to the day and the place was even better than before. Everything you need is there waiting for you. If you're looking for a very affordable great escape...this is it! We'll definitely be back.

Great location and fun stay for our kids

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in the summer during the off season and our family of 5/dog had a great time exploring Cedar Breaks and activities around Brian Head. Location of the condo is close to everything yet still has a secluded feel with all the trees surrounding the condo. Kitchen was well stocked, Wifi worked perfectly and instructions for the condo and communication with the owner were great. We would love to come back and stay in the winter as it is walking distance to the Navajo Beginner's lift. Thanks again for a great stay!

Cozy-Woodsy Townhome in Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a fun filled family ski week in Brian Head. This townhome was the perfect place for our family of four! Very clean, private and cozy. Nestled in the trees with great window light; it has that little cabin in the woods feel.

Preparing meals all week - we were especially pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was with everything we needed to cook.

The location to the Navajo side of the mountain and the ski school is excellent. Which was perfect - since our two boys learned to ski this trip.

The owner is very accommodating and responds to questions quickly.

We would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway - awesome location!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Place was warm when we arrived (after 11 PM) - thank you for turning the heater on. Ski in/out was legit - and very easy to find. We hope to be back in Brian Head soon! PS - only feedback is that hot/cold temperature in shower is actually backwards...head's up so you don't waste water waiting for it to turn warm.

Ski in ski out excellent property!

  • 5 of 5

First time visiting the area, this condo is in an excellent location great proximity to the mountain. We found this place very clean and well maintained. Comfortable for two couples. This condo is loaded with everything a small group would need to have a great time. Beds are comfortable. Shower is especially good. Washer and dryer a bonus. This condo is nestled in the trees and has a great vibe. Hope to stay here again soon. Our four year old learned to ski this trip, this condo is located near the learner side of the mountain and this was great for us. We put her in a ski class and she came out of it making turns and doing great. Best mountain we have ever seen for a beginner. Thanks Jon for being so accomodating.

Cozy Cabin w/Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I love the secluded feel, but easy access to lift. Kitchen is well stocked. The fire place was great. The beds were comfy. The owners were really easy to get in touch with- immediate response for any questions. On our last day they even let us know the cleaning crew was not going to make it up right away and we could have a later check out time which we really appreciated! The only negative thing I would have to say is more like a warning, about the stairs up into the loft. They are small and steep, and even being careful I slipped twice- once carrying our baby and another time onto my back. I might chalk it up to clumsiness, except my husband and son also took a few spills. But it was really the perfect trip in the perfect place and we hope to visit again in the summer months!
