Beautiful apartment

First the pros: This is such an unfortunate review because the apartment is truly lovely and positioned to be a great alternative to a hotel room especially for longer stays. Views are lovely, all kitchen equipment and supplies provided and worked well. Enough linen for 1-2 people and a washer/dryer combo if we needed more. The apartment was clean and very close to restaurants and other amenities. The concierge Juan, and the Valet parking staff was exceptional.

Now for the con: the plumbing is disastrous. Unfortunately there is only 1 toilet in the apartment and even air seemed to block it. It seems obvious that this is a recurrent issue as a plunger was provided in the bathroom. 💭𻐠The toilet design, however, is unresponsive to plunging. Now understand that I had a surgical procedure and was on medications that meant I CERTAINLY was NOT going to the bathroom often and definitely not blockage inducing😳򜰮 (TMI I know, but necessary for context). Despite this very low use pattern, blockage 1 required a plumber who was dispatched after 2 days. Yayyyyy me! 🎉󲐼󲞉🎉󲑉 guess I rejoiced too early as just a few days later, here came blockage 2. 😖򕠽򕨖. No plunger, purchased snake or prayers would help.

My advice is to approach this rental with caution unless bathroom use is absolutely optional.

Great Condo, Great Location. Highly recommended

Let me start off by saying I would recommend this condo very highly and would definitely stay there again. There were some pros and cons, but the overall had a great stay. The condo is located in the same building as the Viceroy hotel. Two separate entrances. There probably 75 restaurants within walking and a grocery store about 5 blocks away. We rented a car but you probably don't need one. The condo was exactly like it was in the pictures. Over all the it was clean and furniture and bedding was in very good condition. The towels and sheets were good quality as they would be in any nice hotel. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and glasses. Everything you need minus food and drinks. Full cable TV in both living room and bedrooms. Nice deck with a couple of plastic chairs and incredible views of the bay and Miami river. Big windows and sliding glass doors in both living room and bedroom. The only drawback to the big windows was the fact they only had sun shades. So if you want to sleep in a little, that makes it tough with all the daylight. The bedroom has a small walk in closet and there is a chest of drawers. Plenty of room for your things. The mattress and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was nice size with two sinks. The only thing about the bathroom was that the tub rim is very high and it is a little difficult get in and out to take a shower or bath. If you had a limited range of movement you might find it very difficult to get in and out.

The property itself is first rate. There is security in lobby and valet parking for your car. Access to the different floors of the building and pool are controlled by a key fob. The pool area is very large with a lap pool and a big hot tub. It is surrounding by 3 large building so the sun only hits certain areas of the pool and during our stay in December those time were only a couple of hours each. The workout facilities were nice and you do have access to them with your rental. There is a club on the top floor of the Viceroy building which you can certainly hear on Friday and Saturday nights from the condo. Mostly the bass from the music. Other than the music the condo was very quiet while we were there.

The management team was awesome. Andrea kept in touch with me from the time we made the reservation to the time we checked in. Everything went very smoothly.
