Apartment, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
The lovely vacation rental, located in Nafplio’s Old Town, has two balconies overlooking the Church of St. George, built during the first period of Venetian rule, and the Palamidi, Nafplio’s principal fort. You are within walking distance of Syntagma Square, where locals and tourists mingle and chat over a cup of coffee while the children play on the square. You can easily walk to the palm tree-lined waterfront, cafés and restaurants.
The vacation rental is a second-floor apartment (first floor European), without an elevator (29 steps). It is tastefully decorated in light colors and sports new tile floors throughout the apartment, except the bedrooms, which have beautiful parquet floors. The apartment comfortably accommodates 4 people and has 2 A/C units. You enter through a spacious hallway. From there you can access the two bedrooms, each with two twin beds. Also, the hallway opens up to the comfortable and spacious living room with its two balconies and sitting area, where you can relax after a long day or perhaps plan your adventures for the days to come. Part of the living room has a dining room table and chairs. This home-away-from-home has a full eat-in kitchen, with white cabinets. The bathroom, with light green tiles, has a bathtub with hand-held shower. For your convenience, there is a mobile phone in the apartment. The phone can be recharged with a phone card, which you can purchase from any kiosk.
The location of the apartment is magnificent, with easy access to main roads and only a 3- to 5-minute walk from the main bus station. The apartment does not have an assigned parking spot, but you will be able to find parking a few blocks away.

Very comfortable apartment
The apartment was clean, well-maintained and was within walking distance of restaurants, shops etc. Christos, our local contact, was extremely helpful. We would recommend to friends.
The apartment was OK, nothing fancy but clean. The beds were hard and the sheets didn't stay on during the night. Doors to the rooms don't close properly so a bit noisy in the middle of the night. WiFi didn't work even when the manager tried to get it going. Loved the location!!
Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the location of our apartment in Nafplio.
Our apartment manager will repair the door problem right away.
The WiFi wasn't completely installed in this apartment until last week (the week of 13 October 2014). We had not even mentioned that the apartment had WiFi until today.
We are puzzled by the comment about the sheets. Our apartment manager checked the sheets and found nothing wrong. We've never had a complaint about them before.
The firmness of the beds is something that most of our clients like. Occasionally, we do get clients who prefer softer beds.
Suggested day-trips: the ancient theater at Epidaurus, the island of Hydra, Agamemnon's ancient city of Mycenae, the coastal village of Vivari, ancient Corinth, the Venetian coastal fortress town of Monemvasia. Sightseeing in Nafplio: the romantic, waterbound Bourtzi castle; the 18th century Palamidi fortress; the collection of artifacts at the Archaeological Museum; the prize-winning Peloponnesian Folklore Museum; the nearby sandy beach at Karathonas; and the dozens of unique shops and diverse restaurants. Go back in time by meandering some of the mountainous secondary and tertiary roads of the Peloponnese. You will encounter shepherds tending their flocks using crooks right out of a Sunday school play. You will see breathtaking landscapes reminiscent of the Alps.
