True to its name, Grandview offers from it's New Pool and Decks fabulous water views looking west toward the picture perfect Great Cruz Bay, the neighboring islands of St. James and St.

Thomas and the glistening, blue waters of the Caribbean. Grandview is a casually inviting St. John vacation home that is constructed of exotic island cyprus hardwoods along with native stone and oozes with charm! It is located in a quiet but convenient neighborhood and has steps from the back yard to Great Cruz Bay Road, which allows quick access by public road to the Westin Resort beach as well as a running route named as one of most desirable and scenic by Runner's Magazine. There is vehicle traffic on the road to be aware of that moves in the opposite direction from the States!

The home offers 3 A/C bedrooms plus a queen sleeping loft in addition to the 3rd bedroom, and 3 full baths, one being a newly built Euro Bath w/shower that is en suite to the newly built 3rd bedroom. Two showers are open air but fully enclosed and private. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a new ice machine, juicer, gas stove and a gas grill on the deck. There is also 2 seating areas facing the ocean with WiFI Internet, Cable TV, DVD and a Bose i-Pod player. The great room has high ceilings and ceiling fans with new track lighting and feels wonderfully open and airy! There are slider doors on the front and back of the house to maximize usage of the gentle trade wind breezes and enjoy the wonderful feel of being so close to Great Cruz Bay from the Bay side!. There is also a new outdoor laundry allowing one not to miss a moment of the awesome views even while performing the daily, mundane chore of doing laundry!

A 4 ft. deck with new stainless steel wire guard railing wraps around 3 sides of the house allowing for optimal ocean viewing while sitting on the deck visiting or relaxing! There is also a NEW 18'x20' private wood deck leading to the New Saltwater Pool! Beside the pool is an Italian marble slab dining table and 8 new comfy dining chairs for comfortable eating and conversation (indoor dining set as well). there is a new covered roof over the deck beside the pool to offer shaded area over the dining and conversation space, There is also a sunning deck at the end of the pool to allow you to enjoy ocean views toward St. thomas ! .A NEW 8'x14' coral stone tile deck off the new bedroom allows for separate privacy, morning coffee, a glass of nightly wine and enjoying the gentle trade winds! Grandview offers abundant privacy and a wonderful opportunity to unwind. The 2 king bedrooms offer amazing ocean views and fabulous sunsets with the comfort of Sleep Number Beds further offering the chance for a restful vacation!

Our family of 6 from Winston-Salem, NC first visited St. John in March 2005 and fell in love with God's creation of the beautiful Caribbean Sea, wonderful warm weather, and the fact that most of the island is preserved as national forest. We so enjoy the sounds of the tree lizards and iguanas at night and the ability to snorkel, scuba dive, paddle board, or rent a boat during the day at the beach just down from the house. We have experienced owning a 2nd home at Bald Head Island, NC since 1994 and enjoy island life so much but sought a warmer winter climate. We began looking for a St John property in 2012 that could accommodate our family during times we could escape to the island with the goal of taking our experience of building and renovating at Bald Head Island to an additional adventure on St. John. We are extremely blessed to have such an opportunity and are excited to offer what we feel is a uniquely located, cozy home to others who may appreciate it as much as our family!

The town of Cruz Bay with it's Restaurants and shops is a 6-7 minute drive from Grandview and the Westin Resort is a short stroll from the back yard by way of road with vehicular traffic.Beware that the road is a routinely used road for local traffic and that traffic moves in the opposite direction of traffic in the states!

Fantastic home, service and island

Grandview was a wonderful home for our vacation. The home has a lot of charm and wonderful ocean views. The pool and grill was a plus for our sons.

Seaview Homes was an incredible resource. It was our first vacation to St. John's and the pre-trip advice, support on arrival day and responsiveness to any requests was the best we have ever experienced.

A great home managed by a great team.

The island was amazing, we can't wait to go back. All of the beaches were fantastic, we loved the drive to Hansen Bay and stop at Skinny Legs for lunch. Sailing on the Kekoa was also a standout.

Simply amazing!!! The views alone every single day and night were out of this world. The accommodations were excellent. Thank goodness for the ice machine!!! Will rent again.

Perfectly located with beautiful views

We just returned from 8 days staying in Grandview on St. John and we loved every minute of it. This villa is very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen to cook your meals at home and enjoy the amazing view from the large dining table on the deck. We appreciated that beach towels and chairs were provided for when we explored the beaches. The villa is clean, beds and furniture are very nice and comfortable, and there was a great layout for two families. The loft was great for the smaller of the kids. We enjoyed the pool in the evening after the beach and enjoyed viewing the iguanas and chickens/rooster hanging out on the hill below the villa.

The manager, Mark, was very helpful both in the time leading up to our arrival and when we arrived on St. John. He met us at the ferry and showed us to to the villa pointing out the shops and restaurants he recommends. The location of this villa makes it easy to get into town, to beaches on both sides of the island and is steps from the Westin where some of our group was staying and also where we caught our sailing trip to Jost Van Dyke with Cruz Bay Watersports (highly recommended!).

We can't wait to come back to St. John and would definitely rent Grandview when we do! Thank you for everything!

The pool is awesome and loved the outside showers. This house feels like a home and is appointed very nicely. The view every morning drinking coffee from the veranda overlooking chocolate hole is outstanding. I will stay here if possible every year. Thanks for the awesome memories! Five Stars!

Great location, clean and updated, great view

Great house, great location, beautiful views. Location was awesome, close to town and 10-25 minutes to the beach depending on which beach. Mark was very helpful with explaining everything and was available for questions during the week. Kids loved the pool, and deck was great as you could get out of the sun if need be. Would absolutely go back.

Grandview says it all. Great property!

My family stayed for 2 weeks and we had a great time. The house was comfortable and plenty of room for us with some to spare. Clean and with all the amenities you could need including a stand alone ice maker! The one thing to add would be steps to the right side door as this is the only way to secure the house with all locked doors. We will rent this villa again.

We are in fact installing stone steps this April from the driveway down to the right side deck that will tie in to the steps that access the lower road where many people walk and run.
