Fun little spot for family vaca
Had a great time! Close to restaurants and other entertainment. Beach was beautiful and not too crowded. Condo had plenty of room and was comfortable.
Hassle free and very roomy. Ocean view was amazing.
Great location, great quiet beach, great house / condo just needed a little better cleaning. Overall it was great and we enjoyed it!
This condo is not kid friendly.
This condo is not kid friendly. Lock does not work on the balcony sliding glass door. Kids could easily open. (4th floor) Dead bugs on the door rails. Door to the outside needs a chain or dead bolt attached. Any child could easily open the door and leave. Problem with toilet in master bath. (no light in shower/toilet area). Cheap shower accessaries. The closet door is broken, electrical outlet in bedroom needs to be fixed. Chair in main room had a large baby diaper pin to keep the stuffing from coming out. Dining room chairs need to be replaced, most are ripped, worn out. No beach towels in the unit even though they offered them. For the price you pay for this condo, these small issues should be taken care of. I notified the owners and did not hear back from them. I would have like to hear that they were happy I brought this to their attention and that they would fix the issues. Unfortunately I did not. We would not recommend this condo with anyone with small children. Loved the location, beaches! Bring your own towels!
Thank you for the helpful feedback. We do apologize for any inconveniences during your stay, and we will make sure that everything is looked at and taken care of. Sometimes the beach towels get hidden away in a closet, but we'll make sure there are plenty there. Glad to hear you enjoyed the location and the amazing beaches!
Disappointed after great expectations
On Tuesday May 14th, 2019 we arrived at condo #408 at Sea Breeze Condominium Resort in Madeira Beach Fl. When we went into the room with our luggage and groceries, we discovered a very dirty coffee maker, a toaster that was loaded with crumbs inside and on top of it, a dishwasher that was dirty inside and out (with dishes still inside), a refrigerator that had a disgusting water/ice dispenser unit on the door. We also noticed the rocker/recliner in the living room had a huge tear in the left arm and in one of the seams on the back of the chair. We took pictures of everything and sent an attached picture of the chair to the maint. phone numbers that were listed on our rental paperwork, as we did not want to have someone think we damaged this chair. We received a text message back that they were aware of the chair and that they were working through the warranty purchase agreement for repair. We also sent texts regarding the dirty appliances and we received a text back asking if we wanted someone to come and look at our concerns and we said yes, but we were out for the evening so could someone come out tomorrow. We sent a thank you and told them we wouldn't use the appliances until someone came to look at them.
On Wednesday, May 15, at 10:34 am, we sent another text asking if someone was coming to check on our concerns and could they let us know a time so we could make sure we were there. We did not get any other messages back. About an hour later, as we were getting ready to make another call, a young girl came to the door and said she was here because she was "being screamed at to come to our room and take the dishes out of the dishwasher"...? My wife explained that wasn't the main issue and proceeded to show her all of the concerns. When the young lady looked into the cabinets under the sink (we had not looked under there) we all saw that it was filthy and moldy. The girl took pictures herself and left. We were very nice to her and she was the same to us. A little while later she came back to tell us that it was recommended that a new coffee maker and toaster be sent to the unit we were in. She put some type of a cleaning agent inside The dishwasher and turned it on. When it was done with the wash cycle, it seemed to be cleaner. We did not use the dishwasher during our stay, as we opted to wash by hand. We never heard back from anyone again.
With only one chance at a first impression...guess what ours is.
We won't be back.
Thank you for the feedback, and we do apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. We have completed a through deep cleaning of the entire condo, and will make sure we check the appliances and furniture. Hope you were able to fully enjoy the area and our beautiful beaches. Thank you!
Lovely girls weekend
Property was clean and roomy with comfortable beds and all the basic appliances. Perfect views and nice beach. The only downside was that the decor is outdated with furniture that was torn and the sliding door was rusting.
