I manage some apartments in Paris, Rome and Istanbul.
You will meet the local property manager on your arrival.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2000
Location, location, location, and location!
Modern comforts and design decoration meet Antique Rome.
We could not have asked for a better location and very much appreciated having a spacious, well stocked and clean apartment. Andy, the property manager was also a fabulous source of information. Would definitely stay there again!
We loved the location and when we opened the door to our flat, we could not have been more pleased. A visual feast for us awaited. Old world charm, views from many windows! We felt apart of this glorious city, Rome. This flat was very spacious and was supplied with everything you might need. And the location is one of the best in Rome. Step out the door to a bridge walk over the forum, ten minute walks to the coliseum, and Monti, the neighborhood was charming. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping were five minutes away thru charming streets and alleys.
When we return to Rome, we will return
To this very spot!
This is an outstanding location and property. Great place to call home for as long as you're there. Feels like you're in the neighborhood. Owner very engaged and extremely informative, great instructions each step of the way, professional; local manager Andreas very nice, also informative, helpful, but not intrusive. Apartment was outstanding. Two bedrooms each with privacy; beds comfortable, nice bathrooms, each with own shower. Stocked kitchen. Excellent amenities. Forum just outside the door. Would go there again in a Rome-minute!
The apartment could not be in a better location. It is safe and less than a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. You can see the Roman Forum from one of the windows. We walked everywhere. Excellent location!
There is a great little restaurant downstairs that serves decadent coffee and pastries. They also have nibbles and cocktails in the evening (Scena Imperiali VII). So convenient when you have been out all day seeing the sights.
The apartment is spacious. We were only 3 people, so we had plenty of room. Everything in the kitchen worked well, including the washing machine. There are plenty of plates, glasses, cups and utensils. So, dining in was very convenient.
We had some minor issues with hot water for showers, but were able to resolve this. Other than this, the apartment is an excellent choice for travelers.
We visited in the winter and experienced a couple of rainy days. The apartment's heater work well and there were enough blankets to keep all 3 of us warm.
I would stay here again.
Bordering the Forum and the Monti district, and just a short 10-minute walk from the Colosseum, Enzo's apartment is in an ideal location. It's as advertised, or better, and my wife and two teenagers loved it and we had a fantastic time. We walked everywhere, even to Travestere and the Vatican, although those are serious walks. However, the Forum borders the building, and it almost seems like the building itself was a part of the Forum. There is a charming elevator, and a quaint breakfast place immediately next door. Enzo is very communicative, and makes everything abundantly clear. I felt it was a fair price. Much better and economical than Rome hotels, if you ask me. I'd stay there again. Two pieces of advice: get a private tour to the Villa Borghese, and get the ravioli at Glass Hosteria (to die for!).
This is a lovely and spacious apartment in a fantastic location: a 16th-century building right next door to Trajan's Forum and 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum. My 4-person family felt like we were at home there for our week's stay. We had everything we needed for our comfort plus a great extra bonus: hundreds of books, mostly in Italian but some in English, including Rome guidebooks. WIFI worked consistently throughout the apartment. Enzo was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. I would highly recommend this listing. Two notes: (1) only the bedrooms have air conditioners; there's a fan in the main living area. (2) we were told on arrival that we were not to use the washer/dryer.
