Welcome to Sea La Vie! Our wonderful top floor condo situated only a few steps away from the Caribbean Sea and Seven Mile Beach, which has been voted one of the best beaches in the world. You are sure to enjoy memorable sunsets as well as the comforts of home found in the furnishings throughout. The expansive balcony is not only used for lounging but also dining, and is only three stories above the water.

The condo consists of three bedrooms, all with vaulted ceilings. Two of the bedrooms are master suites with King size beds and opulent baths. The third bedroom has two full beds with a third bathroom directly across the room. This condo comfortably sleeps eight people.

Sea La Vie is not only known for an amazing interior and view, but also an amazing location. Two doors away is one of the island’s favorite beach bars, Royal Palms. Also located next to Royal Palms is Salt Watersports, where you can jet ski, paddle board, kayak, snorkel, jet pack, and water fly board. Across the street from the Sea La Vie property is Camana Bay, Cayman’s newest work/live city. Enjoy shopping, dining, and even a multi-plex movie theatre. Georgetown is a five-minute taxi ride, where there are more dining and shopping options.

This condo has a spacious, open floor plan,that has been professionally designed and decorated with seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor living space. I am a 64 year old lover of the Cayman Islands. My family and I have visited the islands since 1979-almost every year. I purchased this property in the spring of 2017 with my business partner ,Dennis Hood another yearly Cayman visitor, to share with our friends and families this beautiful paradise. Our intent is to both use the condo ourselves and to share it with others. All family members of both families love the beach , water activities including scuba diving , restaurants , great sunsets, and the warm friendly people of Cayman.

The place was absolutely stunning. The view and furnishings was just like in the pictures. We had a great time and loved the space and feel of the property and condo. It really felt like a 5 star hotel but only better. Will go back again.

Best vacation ever, great condo!

First of all, the condo was everything you see in the photos and more and we highly recommend it! It has a nice large refrigerator with water and ice in the door, kitchen equipped with all of the essentials, living and dining areas all had a beautiful view of the ocean. The balcony is the full width width of the condo and always showcased a beautiful sunset. The Condo grounds are well maintained and beautiful. There is a nice pool and a BBQ area. There are several restaurants and bars with walking distance both on the street in front of the condo grounds as well as walking down the beach. The owner was great to deal with and her biggest concern was always that we had an enjoyable stay and the best vacation ever, which we did. The beach was incredible and literally right out the back of the condo. The sand on the beach was very fine and soft, the water was the cleanest and clearest I have seen on any beach. It was common to see different varieties of fish swimming in the water just a few feet from the edge of the sand. You can snorkel right off the beach in front of the condo, there is a reef our there. In addition to snorkeling, we parasailed, jet ski'd, and swam with the stingrays and sometimes just floated in the water off the beach. This was the most relaxing and gratifying vacation we have had and we will return both to Grand Cayman and this condo!

The pictures don't do it justice

I cannot say enough about our week stay in this condo. As I said in the title the pictures just don't do it justice. We were immediately impressed from the moment we walked through the front door. The view is simply spectacular and the condo is in wonderful shape. You wont find a better place to watch a Cayman sunset. Highly recommend!

Outstanding week in Grand Cayman!

We loved this property. It was everything our family could have wanted for a week in GC. The property was in excellent condition. There were 5 of us and it was very comfortable. The views from the porch were awesome. The location was excellent. We walked across the street every day for smoothies and Burger Shack. You could walk out the back onto a nice quiet section of the beach. If you wanted more action just walk in either direction. This crew is well traveled and they said it was a definite "go back". Thanks Tonya!

Amazing stay at this luxury condo!

I traveled to Cayman for business and was amazed with how great the trip was. The condo was incredible! Perfect location, breath taking view, the beds were comfortable, the condo itself was very organized and clean. I loved that the tv came with AppleTv so I could watch netflix and movies. The location was perfect, I was doing work at Camana Bay and it was a five minute walk from the condo. There were so many great restaurants in walking distance as well. The beach is very private and the water is unreal. There are beach bars in walking distance with great drinks! This condo is a great place for really any trip and I will be back no doubt!

The Good and the NOT SO GOOD.

Very good location on the beach. Enough parking (although it must be said that the end of Summer is the low season). The complex is on three floors. The units are wide so the living, dining and master bedroom all face the beach and the space is bright. Obviously, the unit, which was built in the eighties, was professionally redecorated fairly recently. The appointments are trendier than most condos typically available for short term rentals.

When we arrived, a very musty smell permeated the condo. I was concerned. However, this odor vanished after a few hours. I presume that the unit had been vacant prior to our arrival and that no A/C or air circulation had been on for some time.

The front door is equipped with an electronic lock which failed during our stay. Fortunately, we were going out when this happened as opposed to being locked out coming back! To be fair, I called the contact person and she made arrangements for a key to be brought up to us so we could lock up and go out. This electronic lock is a battery operated model and the battery had never been changed.

The unit is on the third floor. The elevator was out of commission for two days during our stay. Fortunately it got fixed toward the end of our stay and we were happy not to have to carry our luggage down three floors.

The kitchen was in extreme disorder and difficult to use as it was. Everything seemed to be thrown in with no logical order. 90% of the cupboards were filled with trash that was completely unrelated to the kitchen or to what tenants might need: heaps of personal papers, spare parts, old tiles etc. I could not find a reasonably accessible place to put my own groceries. Ditto for the buffet, also heaped with junk. The refrigerator was missing much of the storage trays in the door and had a broken drawer. The cooker's overhead exhaust fan didn't work, not even the light, which had me scrounging with my cell phone's flashlight to figure out the controls.

The bed was comfortable but the sheets were flimsy muslin topped by a heavy comforter that was unsuited to tropical conditions. Some bedrooms had no closet/hangers. The sofa is uncomfortable.

The complex is well located, nicely designed and has great potential but this condo is in serious disrepair and neglect. A space that tenants pay for, should be free of the owner's personal belongings. Cupboards should be clean and orderly with exactly what a tenant will need. Locks & kitchen equipment should be maintained.

Owner's Response: Diane, I am sorry you did not fully enjoy your stay, but I will explain on my behalf. This is a vacation home rental, meaning the place you stayed is my second home and I go there to vacation as well. Therefore, I do leave some of my person belongings. I am traveling from the states and to take my stuff back and forth every time is a bit much. Yes there is a drawer in the kitchen that holds pens, batteries, tools, etc. and as for the space in the kitchen there are always three cabinets left open for storage. In regards to the buffet, that is located in the foyer and is there for decor, not guest storage. As for the A/C we do not turn it on before the guests arrival, it stays at 85 degrees for costly purposes. One of my previous guests broke one of the trays in the refrigerator. For the battery issue, I am not sure what to say other than everyone has had a battery die on them. I answered your call on a Saturday night and had the issue resolved right away. The bedding in the condo is taken after the bedding in the Westin hotel, so I did not think it would be a problem. I take pride in my place and know that it is well maintained. I was just there two weeks ago checking on it and I did not see this "trash and clutter" everywhere. Once again I am sorry you felt this way on your stay. I hope this is not taken unprofessional but I will end with this, I am really disappointed you blind sided me with a bad review as I pride myself on the 17 Great ones I have worked so hard to receive. You didn't once contact me to express your concern the first day of your stay or second but instead posted this bad review. I am a business owner and professional as most guest that rent my place and I doubt anyone reading this would agree it was handled the correct way. I understand as you stated when apologizing for the review that you worked in hospitality for years. Didn't you learn the protocol for how to handle a complaint? I believe it is complain and if not resolved then you report to consumer affairs. I hope all reading will take the time to read the other 17 awesome reviews below. Just so disappointed in your professionalism.

Amazing Water View!

What a gorgeous condo!!! It has absolutely amazing view of water and its clean and very large for 5 of us. Marriott hotel is right next door so its very easy to walk over to get lunches or drinks. This was our 3rd times in the Cayman and will be back very soon.
