Beautiful home with all the amenities one would need.

I would buy this place for my own. Just perfect. The owner was a big help answering questions and added a personal touch. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms.

Mas Cadoene

  • 4 of 5

We travelled as a family of 5, the youngest being a toddler. The house was finished to a high standard throughout, and the kitchen was well equipped and clean. Stephanie was welcoming on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know, and provided us with a local map. The children loved the swimming pool and a lot of time was spent relaxing on the sun loungers. The garden is private and not over looked. The walk into Uzes was a pleasant 10 minute walk (15 with a toddler) which we did on several occasions. There is a very large market on a Saturday and the town gets very busy.

Charming Home in the South of France

  • 4 of 5

The location of the Villa was perfect, a great 10 minute walk to the center of town. Very quiet area, clean, with a well appointed kitchen. The back yard has a nice built in pool, which we used every day as the weather this September was unusually warm. We enjoyed many dinners outside after shopping at the many local markets. We took many side trips to local towns for cultural excursions and wine tastings. The Uzes Wednesday and Saturday markets are a must, get there by 8 am to avoid crowds. The property owners, the Croce's, were very helpful and attentive. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

Restaurant recommendations- Ten in the Uzes square, Bec a Vin, and just outside of town Le Table Julien 2, and for something different take a short drive to Vers Pont Du Gard and enjoy a house roasted coffee and great wines, a nice cafe called La Grange.

Wonderful Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had two weeks in this lovely home and only wish we could have stayed longer. The house has all that you would need and soon feels like a home from home. To be honest, the weather was so perfect during our stay that we spent most of our time in the outside areas. The shaded dining area right outside of the back door was perfect for the fresh bread and pastries that we walked into Uzes for each morning and a treat in the evening for meals cooked on the barbecue. The pool area has a wonderful mix of sun and shade throughout the day and the pool itself definitely appreciated when cooling off was needed! Stephanie and Thierry could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Luckily for us their English is far superior to our French, so communication was good. As for Uzes itself, it is a truly lovely town, with every amenity. It was not our first stay in the area and we still could come back for more! The walk from the house into Uzes is an easy stroll and what better start to the day than a meandering walk into the boulangerie? Or in the evening for a long, leisurely dinner? We would definitely recommend this property and the area.

I would revisit here and Uzes in a heartbeat!

June 2014 This is a well appointed and renovated easy to live in villa just a gentle walk in to the charming village. The first morning I opened the front door to slip out for a run and the sky was dotted with hot air balloons. Temperatures in the thirties but the house was cool and the pool long enough to swim in to cool down. Good mattresses important! Turn left to be in the countryside , turn right to go to the village.I think the rental cycle should be Friday to Friday as we missed the highly regarded market both days as we were arriving and leaving.

Wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a week. We LOVED it! It is comfortable, clean, has a beautiful and relaxing outdoor patio area and pool (we didn't use the pool as the weather wasn't quite warm enough). We used the bikes to ride to town several times. We also walked into town almost every day. Uzes is a delightful place to visit! We did the walking tour of Uzes, which was very interesting. We also spent part of each day exploring on our own. Uzes is centrally located to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Nimes, Chateauneuf du Pape, to name a few points of interest. We both would highly recommend this house. Stephanie is very friendly and accommodating.
