So amazing!!!!!!

What a place! When we saw the place from the outside, we were not expecting much. Our mouth dropped when we walked in and saw the view! Amazing! Listening to the waves crash at night and drinking morning coffee on the balcony and evening wine is the best! We really enjoyed the area and the place. It has EVERYTHING! It is liked someone lives here for 5 years and acquired everything one would need to live here and left it. An abundance of towels which we needed for our active beach days, a boogie board which the kids loved at Magic Sands beach, detergent, hangers and tons of them, Tupperware, baggies, etc. All of the things that I usually have to pack or buy here. So convenient! We will miss our morning visits to the tide pools to see the turtles or looking out at spinner dolphins!

Beautiful property

This property was exactly as it was advertised. Looked out at the ocean every morning and evening. There were turtles in the lagoon right outside and also sunning themselves on the rocks. You can watch the surfers from the lanai. What wasn!t advertised was the Poke Shack that is right here on the property. Fresh Ahi every day along with many other delicacies. Thank you so much for this visit because we all certainly needed it. Mahalo!!

Great location with everything you need

We stayed in apartment 221. It was a perfect location with direct access & views to the water. The apartment had everything we could wish for including snorkelling & beach gear. The owner met us on our arrival and offered any assistance we may have required - including posting some items I mistakenly left behind to Australia! The property was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again and recommend it to others travelling to Kona.

This condo is beautiful, clean and everything one could ever need. Holly is sweet and easy to work with. No complaints. Everything was perfect. The location is perfect! The grounds are safe and immaculate. I hope to become a regular visitor!

Well-equipped apartment. Comfortable. Oceanfront means noisy, but rather addictive.

The four of us had a great time. The apartment is handy to Kona, shopping, eating out.

No internet connection for 90% of the time. Icemaker didn't, after the first effort.

Wonderful outlook. As two couples we solved the discrepancy between lovely bedroom No.1 and a lower standard No.2 bedroom, by swapping half week.

A place to chill out or to use as a base, as we did, to explore the volcanoes and take a sunrise trip up Mauna Kea. Fabulous.

Owner's Response: Aloha and thank you for writing a review of our property! I am sorry to hear about these other issues that weren't mentioned to me! I did know about a 2nd bedroom TV remote issue, but was assured that it wasn't a problem . . . but unfortunately, I did not get notified about your other issues . . . both of which were easily fixed (my housekeeper discovered the note about the icemaker and cleaned out the frozen chips in the chute and it is working fine), and the internet must have lost power at some point, so it just needed re-booting, and is working fine. Both are things that do happen every so often down there on the ocean, so both are normally taken care of right away when I am told they are a problem. Sorry this didn't happen! For all readers and possible future renters, I definitely am always just a phone call away and do my best to handle all issues as quickly as possible so as not to put a damper on anyone's stay or vacation. It is key that I am contacted when the problem is occurring however! Mahalo, Holly

Outstanding condo!

They had everything ready for us when we arrived. The condo is beautiful and had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The lanai has a gorgeous view of the ocean and the tidepools below. We saw turtles hanging out on the rocks or in the tidepool every day during our stay. This location is very close to downtown Kona, but far enough away that it does feel secluded. I can't comment on the pool onsite as it was under renovation when we were there but we used the oceanfront BBQ one night which was very convenient. I highly recommend this property to anyone! Great stay!

Kona Bali Kai Resort is located about two miles south of Kailua-Kona and has easy access to the main highway. . very centrally located for heading out on various adventures around the island! There is a small beach area right in front of the resort with large tide pools where all sort of fish feed and also the large sea turtles!

There is a popular surf spot (Banyan's) just off to the left of the resort as well.
