Sleeps 8 - 3 Bedrms, 3 Baths (2 ensuite) & hideabed with a La-z-boy air mattress
While Las Palomas doesn't currently have the ability to do VRBO/Home Aways' "secure booking", when I do a booking it is directly into Las Palomas' reservation system which is secure. When you do a booking into VRBO's system, they are charging you an additional fee of 6 to 10% to use their service.
All rates stated below have an additional tax cost of 16.45%.
2017 Spring Rates: Starting March 1, 2017 this condo rents for $295.00 Sunday-Thursday, $350.00 Friday/Saturday. Holidays rates are $440 per night and requires a four (4) night stay. The stated rates are for up to 8 persons and I limit my condo to 8 person with all ages counting.
This third floor, three bedroom/three bath condo is in Las Palomas' phase two. Additionally, the owner has a full golf membership which allows renters to play the course at the 'owner guest' rate, currently $35 plus tax per round.
Cortez 307 is in Las Palomas' rental pool and all rental services including wrist bands are included in the stated costs. Rental pool rules limits this condo to a total of 8 persons. If you are 10 or 12 people, rental pool rules prohibit this condo from being rented by you.
This condo has two master suites, with on-suite bathrooms and one guestroom with an adjoining bathroom. The condo, is 'tastefully' decorated with a great view of the Beautiful Sea of Cortez. The unit has a king bed in every bedroom and they are hotel quality beds. There is a TV/DVD in each bedroom. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper-sofa in the great room that has a 'Lazy Boy' airbed mattress which sleeps like a normal bed. A safe is provided in the condo for your valuables. The owner regularly visit this condo to assure it is in excellent condition.
Plenty of space in this approx. 3000 sq. ft. unit as it has 2240+ square feet inside and 717 square feet of outside decking (one wrap-around deck for the great room and master bedroom and an individual deck for the second master suite. The great room and each bedroom has a TV/DVD player set up and telephone. The great room's TV is a 50 inch flat screen. The front master suite has a 32' flat screen and the back master suite has a 37' flat screen and a mini-kitchen. There are movies and books in the condo for your enjoyment. The unit has WiFi as well as a internet connection point on the wall at the end of the kitchen counter.
The kitchen has all the modern amenities of a home with new kitchenware and dishware. The owner likes to cook so it is well stocked. The utility room contains a full size washer/dryer and utility sink and all types of cleaning supplies. The owner provides extra supplies like spices, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, napkins, coffee filters. This condo is is like walking into someone's home and it is my second home.
Enjoy the comforts of the best destination end resort that Puerto Penasco/'Rocky Point' has to offer. There is one fine dining restaurant and two pool bar restaurants (pool bars are open during the day) in the resort area for your pleasure.
This condo rents within the rules of Las Palomas and your rental money includes pool and pool towels, exercise room and daily maid service. If you rent from someone else make sure you see the following wording in their advertisement:
1. The rental is being processed through the resort (a confirmation letter from the resort should be provided showing the total payment including taxes for your stay along with a confirmation)
2. If the payment for your stay is not processed by the owner through Las Palomas' computer, you risk having to pay additional fees when you check in (make sure your credit card shows the payment is processed by Las Palomas).
If you participate in a scheme to rent illegally, you run the risk of not being permitted to enter the resort and/or being required to book a different condo and pay the rack rate, which is the highest rate possible. You may also be denied services, including television, telephone, internet access and even on site parking.
Note: To receive the owner's discounted rate you must book through the owner who does the booking directly into Las Palomas' computer.

The resort required 50% of the rent at the time the reservation is made. The other 50% of rent is taken by the resort 10 days before the date of the reservation. There will be an additional charge of $40 per night for a 9th person, if approved; $20 paid in the reservation process and $20 paid at the time of check-in.
