Amazing mountain getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five had an amazing time at cabin in the trees! Gorgeous Mountain Views! Spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck and bbqing. Weather was gorgeous this time of year. A nice change from the hot Florida weather. The cabin was gorgeous! Tons of space, awesome kitchen that I throughly enjoyed cooking in. Cabin felt brand new. It was super clean and beds were comfortable! Kids played downstairs in the game room. Made s’mores at the fire pit. Helen is about a 20 minute drive. Cute Bavarian German village. Kids loved it. Went to Anna ruby falls on the way back from Helen. Rented a pontoon at the ridges resort about a 5 minute drive and did some fishing. Big Ingles supermarket 5 minutes away as well. Also went for Mexican two days in a row at a local restaurant Anajo grill. This was our first cabin experience and we are so glad we picked Claudette’s Cabin in the Trees. Claudette was a pleasure to work with as well. You will not be disappointed. There is a separate downstairs living room, fireplace game room and king bedroom! Kids stayed in the loft together and had a ball!! Best family time spent here. We will be back for sure! Wish we could have stayed for Thanksgiving! Thank you Claudette for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. It felt brand new! You also decorated beautifully!

Beautiful gem in the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this property the moment I walked through the door! We were greeted with a welcome basket of goodies and it felt like home. We were attending a wedding in the area and I was baking the wedding cake. The kitchen was perfect for my needs. The only issue I had was that I needed freezer space for some of my items and was surprised to see a chock full freezer! It was fine, it worked out, I was just surprised. Not a negative, just an observation. It's a beautiful and clean home and I definitely would recommend to anyone who needs a lot of room. Great for families. I will most certainly consider it again for a little getaway. Thank you, Claudette! You have a beautiful home away from home!

As advertised. Perfectly situated, quiet and peaceful.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a long Anniversary weekend and couldn’t have been happier. Cabin was beautifully decorated, and tucked away just far enough up to offer fantastic views, yet only minutes to all of the popular attractions. It was just my wife and I, but the cabin could easily accommodate 8 without being cramped. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable mountain retreat.

  • 5 of 5

My husband, myself and my elderly mother had a wonderful, peaceful time in this lovely vacation retreat. The whole house is decorated so beautifully, with every amenity you would need or want. The wifi and cable worked perfectly, which became important to us, since we were one of millions of evacuees from Florida dodging Hurricane Irma. We were able to watch the news and weather and keep the internet going on our laptop to see the current conditions.

The beds were very comfortable, with spacious bedrooms, including a whole other area downstairs for a private retreat with a king bedroom, bath and lovely sitting room and fireplace. The loft has twin beds and half bath that is perfect for the younger ages. The large windows on the main floor allowed a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance, with a large deck also, if you want to sit outside. One day we were there, the temperatures were only 53 degrees and raining, so we had a fire in the fireplace to take the chill off. It was so nice. As far as the roads are concerned, it was easily accessible for any type vehicle.

Another great extra benefit we had was dealing with the owner, Claudette. She answered all our emails quickly, and as it became apparent the hurricane would cause a travel delay for us, Claudette realized the danger we could face if we left her vacation home on Monday, so she extended our rental at no charge. She had great compassion on our situation, and cared that we could face tornadoes and gusty winds while on the roads. Claudette is certainly a major reason we recommend this place, with her quick responses and thoughtful, human compassion.

When the leaves fall, the view will be spectacular. A cool evening will be perfect for the use of the fire pit. We hope to return again to enjoy this lovely place one day. We thank Claudette for sharing her lovely home with us.
