I can not speak highly enough of the condo on Marine Drive. It is beautifully decorated to make it feel like a home. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay from equipment in the kitchen to beach chairs and towels. Mary Anne met us on time and was very friendly and informative. The location of the condo was fantastic for walking on the beach (with our dog) to going for morning coffee and scones on the sea front. The stairs leading to the street are right next to the condo so it is easy access to take the dog for bathroom breaks. There is plenty of grass around to accommodate. The neighbours are super friendly and the whole building seems to be pet friendly. The off leash dog beach is directly across the steet and you can check if the tide is out simply by looking out the window. The views of the ocean and Mount Baker are stunning.
The only issue we had was parking. There is only one underground stall and we had two cars. The steet parking is all resident or paid parking. Even though the parking was a pain we would return in a minute! Lastly, I have to mention the fantastic Indian restaurant across the street. The food is wonderful and owners very friendly. Well worth a few visits!
This is a lovely condo. We were completely comfortable during our long-term ( 6 month) stay. It is extremely well-equipped, with thought given to any extras you might enjoy - at the beach; when entertaining; a quiet evening reading or watching movies or lounging on the patio as you enjoy the beach view. The dogs loved being so close to an off-leash area and we enjoyed the pub across the street and the fabulous Italian restaurant close-by. The underground parking was a bonus. The building is quiet and kept very clean. Owners are most accommodating. We look forward to staying in this condo again in the future.
