2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, sleeps 6
This property has been a home to Nash Family for over 50 years. It is a very special place where we have had much family fun and filled with great memories. There is always a member of the family staying on the property.
Jane purchased this Cabin in 1957
Why Jane chose Raymond
Our property is special because of the great beach we have that faces west. You can swim anytime of the day or night. There are many pine trees surrounding the property which helps to seclude you from hectic life.

Tranquility and Beauty
Exactly as you would imagine a cabin on the lake to be. All the amenities you need to enjoy are there. The view is amazing and Jane provides everything you need for a nice and relaxing vacation.
A great vacation by the lake (actually Panther Pond)
Our family of 4, had a wonderful time at Nash Cabins (late Aug-2018). The property is set on a lovely private beach. Jane was a great host. She met us when we first arrived and made sure we knew we could use all the water toys (tire tubes, canoes, row boat, floating island), all the Adirondack chairs, and the fire pit on the beach. Jane had all sizes of life jackets which you need to take with you when you take a canoe or the row boat. She and her husband will most likely join you to watch sunset while floating in a tube. The sun set directly across from our beach.
The Cabins are rustic. You need to remember your own linens and may need to purchase toilet paper and paper towels. There is no TV, but Nash Cabins had pretty good WIFI offerings. The cooking utensils are serviceable, but don't expect Food Channel cutlery or pots & pans.
The Microwave worked fine, but was circa 1970.
The cabins can get hot on days that hit 80+, but we had an air conditioner to cool us down in the late afternoon. Once the sun set, and ceiling and windows fans got going, sleeping was easy. We even had two cool nights when we closed doors and made sure Jane's blankets were on the beds. Our cabin had two bedrooms. Our two boys were in a room with two sets of bunk beds, so they could each choose to sleep up or down. We had a screened in porch where we ate most of our meals and twice built a fire at the beach for S'mores.
Shopping for food was easy. There are a few large stores to choose from that are a short drive from the cabins. We did not BBQ, but our cabin did have a nice BBQ out front and there were some coals and starter fluid to use (these were probably left by the last guest).
The pond water was very clean. The sand bottom was not overgrown. At sunset you could watch small fish jump out of the water to catch flies. The floating island was about 40 feet from shore in 6.5 feet of water. So you walk out most if the way before needed to swim -- or like us, float there on a tube and have a battle royal for ownership of the new territory.
On our last night, Jane mentioned that we were the last guests of the season and that there was "no rush to check out". What more could you ask for?
All in all we had a great stay at Nash Cabins.
Nick (Brooklyn, NY)

Jane (Nash Cabins)
Six of us were lucky to stay at Nash cabins for a weekend for my sisters 30th birthday. This property was gorgeous and accommodating. Jane was such a sweetheart, providing us with great hospitality. She gave us fresh blankets and offered potatoes and corn for our nightly bon fires on the beach. The cabins were charming and comfortable with most essentials provided (just bring sheets and paper products; oh yea and bug spray). My favorite part was kayaking on the lake and experiencing all the wildlife such as beavers turtles and my favorite, the loons! The sunsets on the beach were explosive and magical. If you are looking for a relaxing, low key, charming vacation to spend quality time with friends and family then look no more! I would definitely stay at this property again.
I want to again thank your group for coming to Nash Cabins. It was like you all were a part of the family friendly, warm, and caring. I look forward to having come again!
Really nice lakefront experience for young kids
It really was a great place to go. We were looking for a good spot for our 4 kids(6 and under) to have fun and they did. It felt like we owned a cabin by the lake for a few days. Jane had all the beach equipment you would ever need and then some. (Toys, inner tubes, raft, canoes, life jackets, buckets, noodles, and everything else really made it easy.)Taking the kids out in the rowboat was my favorite. We cooked a lot of lunches and dinner on the charcoal grill. We went to the Naples lakefront area for a dinner in the late afternoon/ early evening. Our kids had fun in the little arcade there, and we went to Mosquito’s for ice cream on the way back. There were tears when we told the kids we had to leave. The best part of staying here was watching the kids have so much fun. There was also a good paved b/ball hoop area where we could toss a ball around. It was a really nice place to slow down and relax. The lake experience here was perfect. Jane was very friendly and accommodating

Home away from home
The cabin had all of the basic necessities and was comfortable but the setting was incredible. Beautiful sandy beach with plenty of Adirondack chairs, canoes and a row boat to use. Or just sit back by a bonfire and listen to the loons. Will go back for sure.
We are so glad you were able to come and enjoy yourselves. Have a wonderful and safe winter.
There is a wide variety of things to do such as plays, water parks, golf, LL Bean and outlet shopping, boat rides, whale watching, zoo, gambling, mountain climbing, moose watch, quaint little shops, and restaurants. For those of you that want to stay at the water's edge; there is such a peaceful relaxed atmosphere that would be hard to beat!
