WELCOME TO THE MT BAKER BIRDHOUSE! --check out the rest, then come back to the nest. The Birdhouse has everything that you need, and then some. Private, set deep in the cedars and ferns, yet close to a pretty park and pond, the Birdhouse is ideally situated. Complete, with a Hot-tub, wi-fi, wood-stove and new appliances, the Birdhouse is optimally appointed.

Winter or summer, you really can't go wrong with the Mt Baker Birdhouse. It is close to hiking trails, the Nooksack river, the cute town of Glacier and the Snowline community park which boasts a childs fishing pond, jungle gym, swings and slide, and seasonally has tennis courts and a full size pool with lounging capabilities.

The house is a large one bedroom with a full bath. The bedroom is located on the second floor, where it opens up to the loft area with two twin beds tucked into the nooks. The bathroom is quite nice with heated tile floors and marble surrounding the the luxurious, retro tub.

About Beth Snowlee 360-927-5466

My wife and I live in Bellingham, she is a licensed Massage Therapist, beautiful skier and avid outdoor enthusiast. I am an Alaskan commercial fisher, skier, and enjoy the indoors more so than she. The cabin, for us, is a way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life (such as Bellingham may be). When we come to Glacier, it is the silence that enthralls us. No traffic, no sirens, no trains, just the wind in the trees, and the gurgle of the creek!

Beth Snowlee 360-927-5466 purchased this house in 2005

Why Beth Snowlee 360-927-5466 chose Glacier

The Birdhouse is so ideally situated. Of course Mt. Baker Ski Area is a huge draw for us, but we also love the summers, chalk full of Blueberries, wild flowers, chantrelle mushrooms, awe-inspiring views, the warm winds on cool days and the cool shade in the trees on hot days!

What makes this house unique

For larger parties, or better separation, we also rent THE JIM JACK SHACK vrbo 461023. Located behind the Mt. Baker Birdhouse and up the hill, The Jim Jack Shack is our newest creation. Totally different, equally as cool.

Cute, private cabin with everything you need!

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved our two nights at the Birdhouse. We wish we could stay for longer! While we didn't make use of the pool, the hot tub was great! No catches, but good memories made at the fishing pond. Lots of bees on our walk around the neighbourhood but no stings. Great for families! Very quiet area. Locals in the shops were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Love the Nest!

  • 5 of 5

We had an enjoyable weekend at the Nest! The cabin is equipped with everything you need and is quite cozy with the wood burning fireplace. It is great if you like to be out in nature yet with a little side of technology as they have equipped the cabin with WiFi and Netflix.

This cabin is great for dogs and has a doggy door that leads out to a fenced deck where the hot tub is also located. Great for privacy! I love the fenced deck, my little dog quickly figured out the doggy door and was going in and out all day. He does not have this option at home so he was very pleased to go outside whenever he wanted.

By far this is my favorite cabin in the Mt. Baker area! I am looking forward to coming back.

Great Cabin, Great Location, Will Return

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at the Birdhouse. Very homey cabin with lots of charm. The owners were quick to respond to all questions. The hot tub, wood stove, everything worked great. It was perfect my girlfriend, myself and our two dogs, with plenty of room to spare. We really enjoyed our experience!
