Literally 20 feet from the ocean, you cannot beat the view from the lanai or inside the unit. . . perfect for lounging, dining, reading or cooking wonderful meals in the full size gourmet kitchen! You probably won't even want to leave the condo! (But you should ) All the comforts of home (plus maybe even more), but you're in Hawaii, enjoying the fabulous weather, sights, smells and sounds, in complete luxury. Beautiful stone flooring throughout. high end granite, teak paneling throughout, bamboo ceiling and teak/bamboo cabinets create an elegant interior. The sliding glass doors completely open up to allow the lanai to become part of the interior. .fabulous! The condo is an end unit on the 2nd floor of the desirable north end of the oceanfront building, so you can't get closer to the ocean than this unit without getting wet! This oceanfront condominium not only boasts first-class views, but has excellent proximity to Kona town and all activities as well.

Watch world class surfers ride the waves at Banyan's while dolphins frolic in their wake. Enjoy seasonal whale watching right from your lanai and get a close up view of the giant sea turtles that feed in the tide pools right in front and also come up on shore to sun themselves! The Perfect Studio in the Perfect Location

We wanted a place that was on the water, and in the neighborhood of a good snorkeling beach, and hoped for a place with wood and tropical decor. 225 was all that and more. It has been beautifully furnished with wood furniture, wood paneling and every appliance one could want. Great bed. It has a very nice walk in shower - that was good for my husband with some mobility limitations. It is on a second floor corner that fronts right on the water to the front and a little cove with a view of a historic stone church in the distance on the right. We could park for free right underneath our room and could walk to the lava rocks out front to see turtles. We never closed the doors and enjoyed non-stop ocean sounds all week. We stocked up on groceries at the KTA store at Keahou shopping Center and stocked up on papayas and bananas at farmers markets, And enjoyed eating on the beautiful, private little veranda. Almost every day we went snorkeling at nearby Kahului Beach Park - fantastic snorkeling, and great for beginners or people who swim well and can go out further toward the reef. Saw incredible varieties of fish and turtles. Holly was totally accessible and helpful. Hard to think of anything that wasn't here. Great spot for experiencing Kona Kailua.

This place was well appointed with everything you need. It is an end unit which made it very easy to access from the garage below. Holly - property rental agent - was prompt with all comms and super easy to work with. The pictures are accurate - love having a kitchin to cook for ourselves.

This condo was perfect. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we visit. The amenities were so much more than expected. All you could possibly want and need, and than some. All the comforts of home in wonderful setting. We loved watching the sunsets nightly from the lanai.

Thanks Holly for the gift of coffee. It was much needed after our late arrival for our first morning together.

Beautiful studio with great location

We stayed for 6 nights at this property and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers. It was very clean, well-maintained and looked exactly like it did in the photos. There is renovation going on for the swimming pool but the unit is located as far away as possible in the complex so it wont affect your stay (we couldn't hear anything).


-Oceanfront view (you can see the sunset) and we saw a sea turtle resting at the small sandy area in the complex just a few steps away

-Da Poke Shack is right in the complex, some people drive here to wait 50 mins for this stuff. It's super delicious!

-Beautiful resort-style interior design and amenities. The studio is decorated very tastefully; overall very aesthetically pleasing.

-Well-stocked appliances for all your cooking needs. Enjoy breakfast on the lanai while taking in the ocean views!

-Plenty of beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach bag, folding chairs, boogie boards.

-Free parking! Unlike some resorts where you pay a resort fee AND parking fee.


-Loud waves, light sleepers beware! We are steps from the ocean on the second floor and it can get pretty loud. We had difficulty closing some of the glass panels next to the sliding door so our first night there wasn't very restful. If you are a light sleeper it would be a good idea to buy some earplugs.

-No air conditioning. We stayed at the end of August when it was still pretty hot. There is a huge ceiling fan and good airflow from the ocean. In the cooler months you should be fine, but your comfort may vary in the hotter months. I was fine, my SO wasn't.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. I took a star off for the loud waves and the August heat, but those are not dealbreakers and can ultimately be worked around.

Lovely appointed studio condo; end unit overlooking the crashing waves. Beautiful small condo that is perfectly laid out - wonderful for two people. Outstanding view of the ocean just below and great deck for lounging and eating. Recently refurbished interior, very clean and well kept. Great rapport with the manager; very attentive and accommodating.
