Probably the nicest house on Folly. Built in 2010, steps from the beach. Owner desires to rent this unique property to those who would appreciate the quiet location, luxury amenities yet get into the thick of the culture of Folly. It's located 2 blocks from center of town and even shorter distance to the beach! House is a raised two-story with wrap-around screened porch, professionally designed with fun, relaxation, and ease of use in mind. Gourmet kitchen with Sub Zero and top of the line appliances, stone countertops, seating around a raised bar with complete openness to the great room and dining area. Completely fenced yard with fountain gives the feeling of privacy and being away from it all. You are only 15 min. to downtown Charleston. It is rich in history, with many historic homes, museums, gardens on tour during the year. There are exceptional restaurants, music, theater, dance and many other activities to enjoy!

We loved staying in your home. It was gorgeous and so comfortable. I loved just sitting on screened in porch. The girls really enjoyed the bicycles and whipping to the Black Magic Cafe. Beach toys/chairs were very nice to have. Wednesday night movie on the beach was great fun. We really enjoyed Folly Beach, not too fancy or snooty just relaxing with normal people. I hope we will be able to come back.
Very nice home, lots of extra you don't get at most rentals, kitchen was well stocked with basics, seasonings, flour ,cooking and baking supplies etc. For the beach there were beach chairs, boogie boards, floating tubes, shovels and more, while there we made good use of one of the bikes(single speed,coaster). The decor and colors are beautiful, loved the turquoise, tiled baths, upscale kitchen and gas grill. We cooked @ least half our lunches and dinners on the grill,when not taking in the local island fare or a couple of Charleston Market area restaurants. In the yard is lush grass not found on most island homes, as well as a great garden of with a variety of veg, we enjoyed fresh tomatoes, peppers, lettuce and peaches, juicy right off the tree, Also a very helpful touch was that all the light and fan switches were labeled, in 10 years of rentals on Folly this is the 1st to do so and it made it much easier ,THANK YOU, home was enjoyed by family, ages 6 to 53 as well as 2 small dogs with plenty of space to spread out. The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes, easy walk because home is on corner that leads straight to beach crossover, though in had several steps that prevented us from being able to use our cart to carry beach items. Overall this was the nicest home we have rented on Folly and would recommend to others.
This house had a lot more "wow" factor in person. Beautiful, well decorated, clean with a fenced in private area for bonfires/privacy and lots of screened in porch area. Within easy walking distance of both the beach and downtown Folly. We parked our SUV and hardly ever drove!
While we never met the owners, we could tell by their little touches they must be nice, welcoming people.
They let you use their beach supplies, bikes, and have every small item you might have forgotten. Also a fairly short ride to beautiful downtown Charleston. We all (including our teens) loved the experience! Absolutely no complaints!
We LOVED the home at 301 Huron! Beautiful, well-appointed, with all the amenities. The kids loved the boogie boards and bicycles for use, as well as the gorgeous veggie garden. Short walk to the beach or town. Everything we needed and then some. This is a great place!
Here you will discover the beauty and diversity of Folly Beach , SC - fondly referred to by locals as the 'Edge of America'. From painted sunrises and sunsets, to rich history, good food and expansive beaches. We sincerely hope you are fortunate enough to visit and discover the wonder that is.....Folly Beach. We plant a vegetable garden each spring for our guests' enjoyment. This springs plantings include tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, red onion, oregano, chives, rosemary, basil, mint, squash, melon, spinach, lettuce, and arugulla. The peach and fig orchard have been producing nice fruits.
