About Ryan White

We are both in the real estate business in Wilmington, Delaware, just an hour and 20 minutes from Lewes.

Our favorite things to do are going to the beach, seeing our friends and family and enjoying life!

We have two young children and we are excited to be able to share the wonderful things that the beautiful and historic town of Lewes has to offer with our little ones and hope they grow up loving Lewes and the coast as much as we do.

Ryan White purchased this house in 2011

Why Ryan White chose Lewes

We live close-by and are big fans of the small-town feel of Lewes. And of course, the beach!

What makes this house unique

One of the best things about Lewes is that during the height of the summer months you never have to go out to Route 1 and face the traffic once you are here. Everything you need is within walking or biking distance - you can't beat that.

WOW what a great place

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from our week in Lewes. This place was great. Two blocks from the main Lewes downtown. A quick walk in the morning to get coffee and fresh pastries from the bakery. There are probably 12 or so restaurants downtown. Every one we tried was great but we really loved the Half Full pizza shop.

The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Our kids loved that the house was split up so they had their end and we were upstairs at the other end. Nice patio to sit on in the morning and read the paper. The home was well stocked (games, books, kitchen wares) and very nicely decorated. It quickly felt like our home away from home.

You could walk or bike to the beach but we drove most days to Cape Henlopen State park since we had a lot of stuff. We went to the Rehoboth boardwalk a couple of nights. There are some great bike trails that take you from Lewis to Rehobeth really a beautiful ride.

So anyway... this house is great, the town was wonderful, and the beaches were perfect. It really was an amazing vacation and we created some life long memories with our family. I am not typically a fan of beach houses but this cute cottage with big shade trees sold me. We will be back next year for sure.

Great vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Our first visit to Lewes and this cottage was just perfect for my family (4 adults and 1 child). The owners were very attentive to any questions before we arrived and after our stay. The well-stocked kitchen was a plus, and the information notebook provided gave us all the details we needed to know about the house and area. What a wonderfully picturesque town that we hope to visit again one day! We would definitely stay here again.

Charming Lewes

  • 5 of 5

Our first time there. House was accurately described and well maintained. Many things to do, places to dine, neat shops to explore. Charming neighborhoods. We enjoyed riding our bikes around town. Lots of flowers. Quiet. Grand old tree out front. Many photo opportunities!

Sandy Davis

This is a quaint home nestled in the heart of old town Lewes 2 blocks off the main street. The house is clean and nicely furnished. It has a beautiful kitchen and outside porch and front yard area. The first floor bath has a very tiny shower (which is the only bathroom other than one upstairs in the master bedroom). The appliances are updated and there is a dining area right off the kitchen that seats (4). This was perfect for our family of (4) for the week. Close enough to walk to town and just a short drive to the beach or outlets.

Owner's Response: Thanks Sandy! Glad you enjoyed the house. For future reference, the table has extensions that pull out on both ends that allow for additional seating/table space. Best, Ryan

The City of Lewes is a historic town, with lots of charm and character. Walking and biking reign as the most useful means of transportation throughout the town, with many interesting sights to see and places to visit. The bay beach is an easy bike ride and Cape Henlopen state park is a vast preserved area for ocean lovers and campers alike.
