Even better than represented!!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I chose to rent this property mainly due to the location, but when we stepped inside we realized it was truly perfect. It's better than the pictures could ever tell you. Read a few entries of the visitor log and you'll see what I mean. We're not ones for the golf course resort kind of places. The owner is very nice and the place is filled with all kinds of nice accents. Great feel to it. And the books of waterfalls and great hiking in the area was really handy. We didn't count on having that local info. We'll be back for sure!

Perfect family getaway to the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

The Shack was the perfect solution for our family of six - half of whom wanted to camp out and half who didn't. It was clean, charming, roomier than expected, well-appointed, quiet, and quaint. From the picnic table and little river to the old wooden floors and fire pit, The Shack had us relaxed and chilling out in no time. We were able to hit Table Rock, Caesar's Head, DuPont a State Park, Twin Falls, Brevard and Saluda within a few days. Our dog probably thought we accompanied him to dog heaven. Tone was friendly and attentive to our needs. She has a little gem with this property. It is perfectly rustic with all the creature comforts a "non-camper" could want. We'll be back!!

Exactly as advertised!

Our family of four arrived and thought "man that looks small!" but when we opened the door we were delighted. It felt like we stepped into an old homestead that has been tastefully updated.the little creek (Oolenoy River) was so much fun for the kids

Great place! Loved it!

Perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My Wife, Dog, and I spent a week in the cabin and mountains nearby. It was an unbelievable time. The cabin is everything you can imagine without being to much, if that makes sense. Your not going to find a better deal in this area. Speaking of the area, its surrounded by state parks, hiking trails, waterfalls, and beautiful lakes. Truly a remarkable place to stay. Also, if your looking for a little city life Greenville, SC is about a 40 minute drive away. It's a beautiful, pet friendly city with a lot of street front shops topped off with a waterfall right off Main Street. The Owner of the cabin is very helpful and nice. Can't wait to go back!!!
