This spacious home is located a short half block from the beach and just a few blocks from the Isle of Palms Recreation Center which offers a playground, tennis, soccer and baseball field and more! A perfect home for multiple families! Features include wood floors and ceiling fans throughout, two living rooms with large flat screens, a full kitchen upstairs with granite and stainless appliances and a small kitchen downstairs with granite and a stainless refrigerator, and oven. There is a large sun room with movable windows upstairs and a finished and covered patio downstairs with an adjacent beach shower. Formal dining upstairs for 8 plus additional seating for 6 at table off kitchen area. Five TVs total and 3 with cable service, one in each living room (downstairs does not have cable but supplied with DVD collection), both masters, and one of the kids rooms (does not have cable). Gas Grill. 3298 Sq Ft. Pet Friendly with $200 non refundable fee. Limit 1 dog only up to 30lbs. No Smoking! Linens Included!

This was a great house for our large family. We enjoyed the big screen tvs and the large tables that allowed us all to dine and play games together. The downstairs apartment, large decks and fenced-in yard were a bonus.

Overall..great house but closet doors coming off, gas grill was unusable -had to call 2 times to get replacement, sheets on queen bed did mot fit had to call to get replacement, downstairs...only mirror was in the 1 bathroom shared by 3 bedrooms, and microwave causing breaker to flip frequently. Love the roominess of the house.

Just wanted to say your marketing department did a great job with the pictures of the house but when I got there we were pretty disappointed. There are a lot of updates that need to be done to justify all the money we paid you for the week. A few examples are, the grill was absolutely disgusting and rotted out, dishwasher was in poor condition, bathrooms were dirty and old, dirty linens were left under the house, trash was everywhere under the house behind wood gate. For a house that sleeps 12, parking was difficult. I have to say I will think twice before I believe pictures of a vacation house again. Thanks, Wendi Richardson

Our family had a terrific time. House large, plenty of room for TV watchers, readers, etc. Gas grill grundgy dirty, sisal runner on inside steps worn, felt not very sound for our senior citizen, deck furniture rickety. Great house, though, just needs lots of maintenance.

Never Again at 26th 6

As pictured 26th 6 looks like an ideal vacation home that is until you put the key into the door. Right off the front door handle kept falling off, the hardwood floors were dirty and gritty. While there were sufficient bedrooms for our group of 12 the bathroom situation was far from adequate the rooms were small and inefficient I have been in larger bathrooms on cruise ships. One bathroom the only mirror was aligned over the toilet and the other was placed so low that anyone over 5'2" did not have a full view of their face. There was not one piece of comfortable furniture in the whole house. Sofas, living room chairs, dining room chairs and any lounging furniture was probably worn out when it was brought in or has not been replaced or repaired in the past 10 years. In the kitchen the dishwasher had slime and mold built up inside a cutting board was black with mold and the shelves in the frig door were missing and the one that was left was broken. At one point a bathroom door fell of its hinges and the most disgusting item of all was that my grandson found a used condom in between the slats and the mattress of the upper bunk. And last but not least the coach roaches in the kitchen were so large that you could have saddled and ridden them. The door problems were reported to local management which repaired the items in a timely and friendly manner. Our family cooked all of our dinners and breakfasts in the house so we used it extensively finding amenities few and far between. Had it not been for us bring most of our own utensils pots and pans we would have had to scramble to eat our in-home meals.

The house was in good condition and clean. It met our expectations for comfort especially the number of spaces for gathering or having a quiet moment. Island Realty staff were helpful, courteous and listened when we had questions. There were some minor issues, dishwasher was missing a piece for plates and fitted sheet on king bed needed to be refitted every day. Being so close to the beach was a great draw and we walked there frequently.
