This one bedroom condo, recently remodeled, is perfectly appointed and decorated in tropical elegance. From the mahogany bedroom furniture, pillow top mattress, to the stainless 'chef's kitchen' you will be pampered in luxury. Relax in the living room while the stunning views take your breath away. Surrounded inside by pillowed limestone floors, sapele wood accents, crown molding, and local artwork, you will begin to relax and unwind . On your private lanai, start your morning with a cup of fresh ground "Relax Blend" coffee or Stash tea while watching dolphin, whales, sailboats or just the the never ending blue Pacific Ocean. Or in the evening, watch the torch lighting around the pool and watch the moon rise while enjoying your mai tai.

We race our 38 foot sailboat weekly from Nawiliwili Harbor. It's a great way to see Kauai from offshore.

See and hear the sound of the ocean from your patio

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location of the condo was perfect. Walk from your patio to the beach and/or walking path and the swimming pool is even closer. Close to Kapa'a for groceries and dining. The condo was well appointed and Wood and Karen were very welcoming, gifting us with fresh fruit and coffee upon our arrival. Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, coolers, binoculars, towels and toys are all available so you don't have to pack anything but your swimsuit. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.

Just as advertised

My wife and I just spent 7 wonderful nights at 109 Kaha Lani. Frankly I don't have any clue what the person saw that claimed this was dirty and cock roach infested. This place is nice and very clean. The entire grounds the buildings sit on are constantly groomed and so beautiful. Even the trash container out back is clean and stored behind a wooden gate out of sight. The pool was clean and even though the beach was just a few steps away we did use the pool. It was very inviting. We don't know Woodie and Karen from Adam and Eve but they were positively wonderful to rent from. Everything was as advertised. We were left alone except for the change of towels. Woodie came by on our last night there and introduced himself and left a gift for us. We would come back and stay there again without hesitation. Thank you for a nice experience Woodie and Karen.

COCKROACHES all along.

First and last thing we saw. If you don't like them, find someplace else.

Did complain, on our first day. Told us it was paradise and normal to live with them. Exterminator came only 9 days later, and tried to do his best.

Couldn't stand this anymore, found another place to stay .

Because of the situation the owner refund us for a fraction of the amount we paid.

Owner's Response: In over 6 years, we have never experienced a roach problem as we strive to keep our unit spotlessly clean. Our condo association works hard at keeping bug population to a minimum by scheduling interior treatment quarterly and exterior spraying every other month. We even steam clean our floors periodically and had done so just just two weeks before these guests were to arrive. No one stayed prior to their arrival. Unfortunately, many roach problem are actually caused by travelers themselves (albeit unwittingly) where suitcases bring in critters from airplane cargo holds and even rental cars. We notified our association management immediately upon hearing of an insect problem and they scheduled the first available to treat the unit. We found it rather suspicious that our guests decided to leave the day after the pest control company treated the unit, and with no notice whatsoever. However, we refunded all of the days they decided not to stay and over 50 % of the days they did stay. It wasn't until they returned home that they demanded ALL of their money returned or they would write a bad review. This is the first time we have ever felt scammed. We have had well over a hundred guests since we began, with no complaints, many choosing to return year after year . Nothing but 5 star ratings. They stayed for 10 days and then decided to leave. And then wanted a full refund?

We stayed at this unit at Kaha Lani from 4/28/15-5/15/15. This was our fifth visit to the beautiful Garden Island of Kauai and our second stay at Kaha Lani (different unit). So we knew very well what to expect. This unit is beautiful and has everything a guest might want to have. You deal with Woodie as a caring host and a real person and not with an anonymous computerized rental agency as is common practice for other rental properties. We would like to come back for our sixth stay on the island and we may even take advantage of the repeat guest discount when we do so.

Our 32nd Anniversary Getaway

Woodie & Karen provided everything we could have ever have imagined. Their attention to detail was amazing. Upon getting out of the car, the accommodations were so inviting. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing, modern and impeccably clean. The central location was ideal for all of the things we decided to do once we got to Kauai. However, when we decided to do "nothing", it was so pleasant to do it in this lovely place. Thank You so much Woodie & Karen for everything....From the fresh fruit, champagne for our Anniversary celebration, island coffee beans, to the view and beautiful landscaping, and the comfortable bed, we would recommend this over and over and would absolutely come back!

A relaxing, quiet gem.

My girlfriend and I felt as if the condo was ours. The welcome from the owners was above and beyond. It being Christmas they actually provided us with a small tree, decorations and lights so that we would feel more at home during this festive season. Truly unexpected and beyond anything else I've experienced. The condo was perfect for two. Everything was in tip top shape; comfortable, clean and beautifully laid out. They provided lovely soaps, soft linens and tons of beach/pool gear. Very centrally located to most of the island, yet away from the hustle and bustle areas on the westside that can detract from your experience. We cooked, we relaxed, we celebrated. We wanted for nothing. And we well be visiting again. Thanks Woodie and Karen!
