Great house and great location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in this house. It was a great layout for our group, and the basement was perfect for the young ones to sleep as it was separate and quiet. There is a beautiful new hot tub, and the dining table was perfect for a big group. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, and it was a short drive to the mountain. The road is steep and although not snowy, because it was warm it was VERY muddy, so cars without AWD were slipping up the hill. Hope to rent again!

Owner's Response: Thank you very much Kara. We are so glad you and your fellow travelers enjoyed our home as much as we do! It appears that Mud Season might have come a bit early this season. Hopefully, it will firm up soon and the snow will continue to fly. We appreciate all your feedback and your kind words about our home. We look forward to having you stay in our home again soon! Be well, Debbie and Hunt

Perfect spot for a medium sized group

  • 5 of 5

You can tell this is someone's home, not just a rental property. Got a slightly overbearing (IMO) message from the owner after the property manager stopped by and saw a few beer cans left out by the hot tub (which we of course picked up after we were done ripping pow turns), but other than that, super easy process, communication, etc... highly recommend this great spot.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed staying in our home as much as we do! We love our home and I hope it shows. We also enjoy sharing it with other so they can really have a total Mad River Valley experience. Our property manager does take her job caring for our home very seriously. We are glad it all worked out that our home was left in the condition in which it was found. Thanks!

Perfect ski house close to MRG and Sugarbush

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful house was perfect for our stay during MLK weekend. It's perfectly designed for skiers with a well sized mud room area for boots and coats. Beautifully furnished, great wood stove, excellent kitchen, and the hot tub was exceptional. We were two families, could have fit a third. Right off of downtown waitsfield and very short ride to MRG, Sugarbush or Mt. Ellen. Owners were great with solid communication and clear house rules. Wonderful experience.

Wonderful Vermont Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This house has all that is advertised...and more. The beautiful photos can't even really do it justice. It was the perfect summer HQ from which to explore the SO many fun things to see and do in Vermont in August - I can only imagine what it must be like in ski season! Our family of five relaxed the minute we walked through the door. It has all the amenities you could possibly need. The owner and property manager were super friendly and helpful, enabling us to experience local things we might have sadly otherwise missed. To give you the truest idea of whether we would recommend it or not....our kids were already talking about winter breaks when we pulled out of the driveway. Guess we better start planning soon! : ) Huge thanks to our lovely hosts - it was a terrific summer getaway.

Great house and location!

  • 5 of 5

This house is on a secluded dirt road just minutes from town and Sugarbush/Mad River skiing. The house is very comfortable and clean. The main level is large with an open layout for entertaining. The upper level has three bedrooms and the lower level has a large bunk room. The hot tub is very nice and worth the extra fee. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you possibly need. The owners were very friendly and quick to reply. All and all, this is a great rental!
