With vibrant colors, modern decor, and a wall of ocean views to greet you, you'll be dazzled when you make this Florence vacation rental your home away from home on the Oregon Coast. Soak up the panoramic views and let yourself be pampered in an atmosphere at once comfortable and stylish, with all the amenities of home - like WiFi and cable TV - waiting inside this striking beach getaway.
Inside, you'll walk on beautiful hardwood floors punctuated with colorful area rugs. The interior is spacious and cheery, abundantly lit through the wall of ocean-facing windows that afford you a front row seat on the ocean's many moods.
Enhance the setting with some music from the stereo, or, grab one of the DVDs provided and enjoy a flick in the cozy entertainment area. Through the telescope, you can watch the seabirds cavort in the distance, or study the sky over the water for signs of an impending storm. Step out on the big deck any time for a breath of salty ocean air, or, weather permitting, fire up the barbecue and dine outdoors!
At mealtime, your cook can savor a wonderful view while testing the seasonings! And this big, modern kitchen will put a smile on any chef's face, complete with everything needed to whip up a great meal including plenty of utensils, pots, pans, microwave, and dishwasher for easy clean ups. Serve it up at the big, elegant dining table with room for eight where, along with dessert, you'll enjoy a sweet view of the ocean in the distance. If you're thinking of going out, the dining options are surprisingly diverse in the Florence area, offering cuisine to satisfy just about any taste.
There are three bedrooms and a bonus sleeping area. An array of comfy beds includes one king and three queens, all piled with soft, luxurious linens and fluffy pillows. In the morning, you'll awake refreshed, and you'll be greeted with a great view! With three full bathrooms, there'll be little waiting to get ready for the day or to freshen up for dinner.
Your stay here puts you close to water sport of every sort, from the deep blue Pacific just a block away, to variety of lakes in the area, like Siltcoos, Tahkenitch, and Mercer, where anglers can snag anything from Bluegill to Cutthroat and Rainbow trout. And, you'll be less than 10 minutes from the Siuslaw River where you can hop on a boat tour out of Florence, or explore the river on your own in a kayak. Make the drive - less than half an hour - down to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and take a challenging hike among the beauty of the sandy hills. And yes, there's golf. Hit the links at Sandpines, just seven minutes away. Or, take the camera and get some great pictures of Heceta Head Lighthouse north of town or the remarkable architecture of the Siuslaw River Bridge, right in Florence.
Once you experience scenic and exciting Florence and stay at this stylish vacation rental home, it just might become your favorite Oregon Coast destination!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Would love to return! We really loved the house--just enough space for everyone. Very cozy with lots of space!
Loved the windows and decor. Kitchen was well stocked. However, the appliances were severely lacking. For the price we payed, seems like we should have had working appliances.
Very nice house close to the beach, upstairs had lots of windows and light. Downstairs was configured for handicap setup but overall clean and spacious home and stay.
We had a nice 3 day stay here, location was great, near the beach house was clean, and safe.
We loved the house and the location. This house is great for a large group.
The Glass House worked out perfectly for us and our extended family. It was very comfortable and well appointed. Very close to the beach but not much of a view from the house because of the resort that was right on the beach.
I was hoping to return to this fabulous beach house this summer. Not to be. But I want to say what a wonderful experience we had and wish we were there again. It's immaculate, modern, and unique. We loved it and would recommend to anyone going to the Oregon Coast this summer.
