About Owner/Manager

I am a person who loves traveling, meeting new people, and learning new cultures. I was born in Italy, in Rome, to be exact. I feel very fortunate to be born in this beautiful city where the weather is always mild.

Why Owner/Manager chose Centro Storico

Of many apartments in Rome, this is located in a perfect location. I suggest to all the people who intend to book not to rent a car. Rome is such a beautiful city that should be enjoyed on foot and this apartment is just the perfect solution.

The area is actually an extremely lively location to stay. It is possible to have speedy access to the unique city activities, attractions and tours. In addition to this, the location is also considered the center of the present day Roman life. The unique narrow streets, and the characteristic architectures, are making this area one of the most attractive of Rome.

What makes this apartment unique

I am always very attentive to details. For me punctuality is a key factor in my work. I do my best to make each customer feel like home.

In addition, before each check-in I prepare a detailed list, built according to the needs of each client, of all the restaurants and shops of products typical of Roman cuisine.

Wonderful stay in Rome

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay! Antonio was a great host and was waiting to meet us and show us around when we arrived. The location of the apartment is perfect - within walking distance of everything. Only minor criticism is the upper bathroom needs some updates. As others have mentioned, lower bedroom is a bit loud (being in heart of everything), but we all got used to it and slept well.

Roman holiday

  • 3 of 5

WHile the apartment and all the facilities were good, there were a couple of issues. One of the beds appeared to have sunk on one side. The continual noise from the main door and the security gate to the building was continuous and extremely loud all though the night. The constant banging of the door was awful. The other issue would be the shower heads tha5 definitely needed cleaning at the least. We also couldn’t get the stove to operate properly. Otherwise the apartment is in a great spot with easy access to restaurants and sites.

Very nice apartment in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 had plenty of space in this two bedroom apartment. It was conveniently located near the Colosseum, but close enough to all major sights that we walked everywhere. It's located on a quiet street that provided our family with more of an authentic neighborhood feel, rather than staying in a hotel. The kitchen was well stocked, though we did not use it for cooking, but it was a great place to get some work done, play cards and games, a do a little vacation planning. There are markets, restaurants, and shops very near by. If I had any complaints it would be that the showers were a little small, but I think that is the American in me being used to a lot of space. Also, the rug in the living area was dirty. If I were the owner I would simply remove it from the apartment. The room was cozy enough that it didn't need the carpet. It was cold while we were in Rome and the apartment was very warm. There was also a washer located in the upstairs bathroom.

another great feature were there were two entrances to the apartment. On the first level you could enter one of the bedrooms or on the second level you entered into the hallway. This was great for the times some in our party stayed out later or got up earlier and wouldn't have to disturb others.

Overall this was a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we get back to Rome.

Great Apartment very close to city center and all the main historical sites

  • 4 of 5

Great apartment within walking distance to the Coloseum, Forum, museums, restaurants, and shops. The Owners were great and communication was easy. We took the owner recommendation for the car service to adn from FCO and were very pleased with the service. The Apartment was clean and the fixtures all worked well. We cooked there two nights. We really enjoyed being able to walk to everything. The only minor issue is that if you are traveling with family and you try to go to bed between 10pm and midnight, just know that there tends to be quite a bit of foot traffic in and out of the aparment at that time from people headed to late dinner, bars, etc. We found that ear plugs worked well and everything quiets down after midnight. This ony really affects you if you are in the lower bedroom. The upper bedroom was high enough off the street to lessen the impact.

The district 'Rione Monti' one of the oldest in Rome and the first district of Rome, home to some of the most characteristic places of the city and given the proximity to the subway station in Via Cavour is considered one of the most accessible of Rome.
