Hello!
Thanks for checking out my Townhouse!
I have been living in beautiful historical Charlestown fir many years. My property is near and dear to my heart as this was our granparents home that we pretty much grew up in and that I bought after they passed away. I recently decided to turn my beautiful peice of property into a place where visitors can come and enjoy all this wonderful city has to offer while staying in a place of history vs a hotel! You will enjoy staying here and all this city has to offer- I will make sure of it! :)
Thank you and I look forward to meeting you!
Gina & Dawn purchased this townhome in 1999
Convenient to everything!!!
Airport pick up ( if I am around ) :)
Will pick up food shopping to have ready for you
Will make dinner reservations for you - ( I'm in the business so it can be easier for me to get you something)
You can walk everywhere!
Hi, we had a great experience with Dawn. We had everything in the house we needed- fresh towels, sheets for all beds including the blow up mattress.
Dawn made our stay very comfortable.
Great location, a few minutes to the T, a few minutes walk to the Bunker Hill Museum which I think is the best on the freedom trail.
It only took 2 Ts to get to Fenway.
Also the house had 2 bathrooms, which was so hard to find when we were looking for places to stay.
I was so excited about bringing my family to Boston (my hometown) for my niece's wedding. It amounted to a family reunion--family members from all over the US and Canada. We had talked about it for a year.
The place looked good online and the owner was initially very friendly and enthusiastic. They preferred an "outside-the-VRBO platform" transaction. The documentation was slow to arrive. But that was okay, given the friendliness shown.
When I tried to speak with the owner about shortening our trip from 5 days to 3 days so we could spend a couple of days on Cape Cod, I heard nothing for weeks. Then, I was told "we can work something out."
Days before our arrival, I was told that there were people who would be staying in the home when we were scheduled to be there, but we could be moved to another place--in Quincy. When we balked, they apparently made the current inhabitants relocate. Apparently. (We have our suspicions. )
The place itself was a dusty. (If the cleaning service worked on it for 3 hours before our arrival as we were told, they ought to find a new service.) I gashed my lower leg twice on a bed frame that extended inches beyond the mattress but was hidden by a bedspread. Still have the marks!
We gave notice, left after 3 days, and have been trying to recover some of our money for over a month now. We offered to "split the difference" by paying for one of the 2 days we were not there. Seemed reasonable. The primary contact seemed willing, but her business partner was not. Note: We assume the prior tenants moved back in, presumably paying the rental fee, and making the owners "whole."
Once I complained about the conditions of the property, we were then accused of breaking a ceiling fan (which btw never worked) and also a door knob (if it was to the upstairs bathroom, it didn't close so we had to use the latch.)
The 3 disappointing days we spent in this place? It cost us far more than we spent.
Sure, we could have done a better job on our end of managing the process. That's why we tried to meet them halfway. They may not have violated a contract but certainly did not uphold the spirit of the VRBO/HomeAway platform
Dawn was great and her place was too! We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very neat and tidy for us. She even had fresh flowers to great us when we arrived at the apartment. Dawn was nice enough to pick us up at the airport and take us to the apartment. This unit is located in a very central location and is very easy to get everywhere! You would be very pleased if you stay at her property
Great place, great location. Dawn was very attentive throughout the process. The apt is in great shape, very clear. We had a great time travelling with my wife, parents and two daughters.
Highly recommended.
We had the best experience staying at your lovely home in Boston. Everything we could possibly need was provided and cleanliness was a ten plus. Will recommend to friends and family members looking to vacation in Boston.
We went to two of the recommended restaurants in the area and we were very pleased. Again, thanks for your hospitality and kindness, you went above and beyond.
Dawn was a fabulous host! The home was extremely clean, spacious and accommodating for our family. If I could we could have extended our stay longer, we would have. Dawn was lovely and always available for questions/ recommendations on great restaurants in the area. The location was perfect, only a five minute walk to the train station. We are looking forward to our next Boston trip!*****
This apartment is located in walking distance to the USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Monument, Freedom Trail, North End ( our little Italy) and many more attractions!
