Comfortable but very dated
If you plan to spend most of your time on the slopes and out eating then this is fine for a family of 4. We had 2 adults, 2 teens, we slept fine and it was cozy, however the kitchen has zero storage for food, the fireplace did not work, the TV worked after 3 hours of trying to figure it out (no directions) and the carpet is downright gross. Upsides are walking distance to Eagle and covered parking. ITs overpriced but everything is right now in Mammoth!
We definitely appreciate your feedback. I am sorry you were unable to get the fire started! I was up there a few days ago helping the guests start the fire and they were able to keep it going. I will talk with our management team to get these issues resolved. Thank you for sharing your experience and we look forward to hosting you again!
"Stunning" is not the word to describe this unit. It is extremely dated with original carpet, fixtures, etc. We had an issue with internet access that was never resolved; the ID and passcode provided was incorrect. Location is good; close proximity to Eagle Lodge and covered parking that was very handy during the snow. Overall, the unit was okay but overpriced for what you get.
I do not think it means what you think it means.....
This is a case of you get what you pay for and the pictures depict the condo accurately. However, there is nothing stunning about the unit. The carpet is at least 20 years old with stains everywhere, the shower head is probably as old and sprays water all over the place, the heaters are the original baseboards from 40 years ago with on/off switches that make no sense, which makes it close to impossible to regulate. The fireplace is an actual open fireplace, which has been illegal in Mammoth for over 20 years for air quality purposes...units were to be retrofitted with clean wood burning/pellet stoves. On the plus side, the master bed is comfortable, the covered parking is a bonus, its location to the bus stop is nice and the cable TV with On Demand and DVR capabilities was unexpected. Note: the WiFi info sent by email was inaccurate, I found the information on the back on the router. Grand Resort Properties was very quick to send out maintenance when one of the heating units wouldn't turn on, which was much appreciated.
We're glad to hear our team was quick to respond to your maintenance call. We value your feedback and will be working with our team to address these issues. We look forward to hosting you again!!
