The cabin is in a great setting and very quiet.

It had everything we needed and more.

I would recommend it to people and would stay again.

Sweet little cabin right near glacier

  • 5 of 5

Hey Folks,

My wife and I went to Glacier National Park for our honeymoon. This place was great. It is on the property of the owners, about 50 yards away. The cabin is cozy and very close to the park.

It has all the cooking gear you should need and good water pressure. The owner's John and Ginger were very nice. I never met Ginger, but I corresponded via email with her. She is a sweetheart. John is very hospitable and charming. This is the only place we will ever stay when coming to West Glacier.

Overall good value and dont hesitate! Make your booking today!

Only place we would consider staying when visiting glacier

  • 5 of 5

Would not stay anywhere else when visiting beautiful Glacier. John and Ginger have been our hosts for the past two years. Last year we mentioned a full size fridge would be nice, and when we got there this year, there it was. The cabin is clean and cozy and the bed is very comfy after a day of hiking. Saw deer in the yard and you are only a stones throw from the "Packers Roost" where you get the best burgers in the area and an unbelievable prime rib dinner on Friday nights. Was always nice after a day of hiking to stop and say hi to John and Ginger's golden retriever Enzo. And don't forget while you're there to get up early and go to Carolyn's for a hearty breakfast. The cabin is nestled in the pines which gives you a feeling of privacy, but you're only a couple miles from the park entrance. There is a grill for you to use, and we did. Felt like we were among friends while we were there, and of course there is the park itself. September was a great time to visit as the park changed everyday as the colors were changing. You can spend big dollars and stay at one of the fancy lodges, but if you're looking to get that getaway experience, contact Ginger. They're cabin is very affordable and charming. Sit out on the deck after a long day of hiking and enjoy the calm and quiet with a beverage of your choice. Like I said, wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting glacier.

A very nice comfy cabin close to the Glacier and away from the crowds

  • 5 of 5

A perfect cabin for a couple or small family - we loved having a nice, clean, and private place to relax in after spending all day in the park. The cabin offered everything we needed to enjoy a week long getaway. It was especially nice on the days when the weather was rainy and we had a cozy place to retreat. John and Ginger were very nice people and made us feel at home. We enjoyed meeting them, as well as their beautiful and friendly dog Enzo. He reminded us of our dogs we were missing at home. I would recommend staying here as an alternative to the crowded cabins and lodges in the park. Thanks for a nice stay! We hope to return in the future.
