Quintessential mountain cabin

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here! Easy to find using the owner's directions. Effortless check-in and check-out. Nestled in the woods, but with easy access to the main highway. Only 10 minutes to GNP in one direction, and less than 5 minutes in the opposite direction to grocery store and restaurants in Hungry Horse. Congenial hosts who respect your privacy. Adorable greeter (Enzo the golden retriever). Cozy interior with woodsy charm. Very comfortable queen bed. Convenient full kitchen with a week's supply of coffee beans provided. Would have appreciated having more room/amenities for our stuff: a bed-side table for coffee cups, a closet or dresser for clothes, and a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Overall, we recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again.

A true home when away

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this cute cabin when we visited Glacier National Park at the end of July. it is tucked away in the woods, quiet, clean and cozy. It is a ideal choice for visiting West Glacier. There is a full kitchen which is a great alternative to dine out. Everything one would need for a vacation stay is there. it is like one has their own vacation home in the Glacier. One minor suggestion, if it indeed is my vacation home, I would put a few hooks on the wall so my stuff can be better organized at the end of day. Great thanks to Ginger and John.

Amazing cabin close to west glacier!

  • 5 of 5

Super cute little cabin fitting for a small family with a loft bed young children would love! Property owners were great, close to the excitement of west glacier. Very clean and comfortable. Away from main highway but easy and quick to access! Would stay here again hands down!

The Raven

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful cabin on remote property. Very spacious and clean. My wife and I stayed with our 2 adult children and there was plenty of space for all, although the upstairs bed was small. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the park.

Perfect.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect! Only word of advice - use the directions provided to you by the owners. We were unable to access the app due to internet restrictions so ended up using the GPS. It took us to the end of the road to a different address and a woman came out with a fly swatter and began yelling at us for trespassing. She screamed that people "have been turning around in my driveway all summer." Not at all the owners fault- their directions were spot on once we were able to access them. Very close to West Entrance of the Park. Packers Roost right up the road for Prime Rib dinner Friday and Saturday night as well as their burgers - both delicious. Highly recommended Carolyn's Cafe for breakfast right up the road in Hungry Horse before you head out for the day. All in all a great experience - great clean place!

Great location and property owners!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect spot to launch our daily trips into Glacier National Park. The cabin was simple but well-stocked and just what we wanted. Ginger and her husband live across the driveway on the property and are available when you need them but stay out of the way if you don't. That said, they are great people and worth having a chat with. They also have a super friendly retriever that stays on his side of the property but is also very happy to have visitors if you need a surrogate dog while you are away from home. We had a great time!
