About Laura Kittery

Hi Folks! Our names are Brian and Laura Kittery. We grew up in Wakefield, MA. We have known each other since childhood and are now in our 50's. We have been together for over 30 years now and since 1985 have owned and operated a tree removal and pruning service in Stoughton, MA. We like to vacation as much as possible and we also enjoy seeing other people at the beach, relaxing and enjoying themselves. We hope you will come and stay at 'Sea Perch' and have the type of vacation you deserve.

Laura Kittery purchased this cottage in 2012

Why Laura Kittery chose Cape Cod

We just happened to find Sutton Place cottages in the early '90's and have been vacationing here ever since. They were 'rustic' rental cottages for all of those years. We loved them because as Brian says, 'You roll out of bed and your feet are in the sand.' We often day-dreamed about how nice it would be to be able to buy just one little cottage . . . that opportunity became available to us in late 2011 and we managed to put the pieces together and buy our little dream-come-true beach cottage at Sutton Place. 'Rustic' no more - they are almost all new construction, but still retain the charm of 'olde Cape Cod'.

What makes this cottage unique

On the beach, DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH on Cape Cod Bay, with incredible views of the ocean and Provincetown, dunes and sky - and the proximity to just about any activity you might like to do when on vacation on Cape Cod. We purposely have tried to keep this cottage very comfortable and not 'so nice' that you worry about putting your feet up and truly relaxing. Judging from the reviews we have received from our renters to date, we are very happy to learn that they have been very comfortable in the cottage and felt that all of their needs were anticipated and met by the provisions we made for them - and also that they had lots of fun in the area and enjoyed great food and great sunsets - our goals have been achieved! :) :)

Off season gem

  • 5 of 5

I came here in the off season and, despite the occasional rain and chill, still managed to have a great time. The owners were fully equipped with space heaters and blankets. Nothing beats being lulled to sleep by the ocean. Nothing.

Sample a taste of old Cape Cod. This studio cottage is part of a vintage cottage colony located directly on Cape Cod Bay across from Provincetown. Experience the charm of staying in a cozy cottage by the seaside - built in the 1930's and now updated with all new and modern construction features while retaining all of the charm and simplicity of yesteryear. Sit and relax on the private beach - enjoy reading that summer novel while sitting before the ocean and listening to the sounds of summer. Or venture out to local activities or historical sites too numerous to mention. You can stroll the streets of Provincetown with its shops and restaurants, take in a show, climb the Pilgrim Monument, go for a whale watch, hike the many trails, bicycle ride around town or out to a beach, tour a light house, tour Truro Vineyards and attend a wine tasting (just down the street!), go to an art show, or attend any number of unique local festivals. You can head out to other parts of Cape Cod from your little home by the sea in North Truro. Rent a sailboat, kayak, or canoe. Go parasailing, water skiing, water tubing, or just plain old swimming. Fish or sail in Cape Cod Bay right off the beach outside your cottage door. All types of activities are within 2-5 miles of this cottage, including tennis courts, golf courses, and fitness facilities. Vacationing on Cape Cod meets the needs of the sightseer, adventurer, shopper, beach bum and artist in all of us. Come and discover why people come back year after year to this incredible vacation and resort town paradise!
