Enjoy the charm of New Orleans living in an historic Victorian Camelback, built in 1861.

Close to everything; walk 3 blocks to world famous Commanders Palace, stroll down oak and mansion lined St. Charles Ave, go antiquing on Magazine St, ride the St. Charles Streetcar down to the French Quarter or up to the Universities and Audubon Park, visit the WWII Museum, and dine at any of the myriad of restaurants that make New Orleans a foodie paradise.

This lovingly restored one bedroom, one bath apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway. Enormous pocket doors, high ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the porch are just a few of the architectural details to delight the eye. The beautiful new kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, if you ever get tired of dining out. The living room is large and comfortable with satellite TV, WiFi and a sofa bed. The bedroom has a super comfy memory foam queen size bed and a black-out roman shade for the mornings you want to sleep in. Bathroom access is through the bedroom so it is more suited for a couple or a small family. The apartment sleeps up to 3 adults. High quality linens and towels are provided. Off-street parking is conveniently located across the street.

Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. ​Due to the nature of our small business we are generally unable to offer late check-outs or early check-ins.

What makes this apartment unique

Our home is an historic shotgun camelback double built in 1861. Somewhere down the line it was converted into a 4 plex but it still retains many of the architectural flourishes that make New Orleans homes so charming. We love this old house and have been slowly restoring it to its original beauty. The neighborhood is perfect for us; we're a block from the streetcar, walking distance to so much, and our neighbors are wonderful. We enjoy this property immensely and intend to live here for a very long time.

Cute place with an unbeatable location.

What a wonderful place to enjoy the city of New Orleans from. The apartment itself is super cute, and has been updated just enough to keep its time earned charm, but allows for easy meal prep and a comfortable stay. It oozes charm.

The location is unbeatable in my mind. A very short walk to St. Charles and all its restaurants and the historic street car. The central location worked very well for my family, and was the catalyst for a wonderful few days. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Honestly, I can't say enough good things, and we're looking forward to staying there again when we launch our next New Orleans adventure.

Lovely apartment in great location

Excellent location with public transportation just up the street. Great place from which to explore Garden District and Magazine Street. Corinna and Michele are lovely hosts. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. I appreciate the small extras...the treats, the organic shampoo and soap, the fact that linens are sterilized. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to staying again, or maybe in the sister apartment. Thanks!

The condo was clean and spacious for two or three people. Corrina and Michele were very great!

My son and I stayed at this condo for 7 days while getting him settled in the city for university. We arrived at 2:30 am, and Michele was there to help us get settled. The condo is located two blocks to St Charles St and a 15 minute walk to Magazine St. I appreciated having off street parking and felt safe in the neighborhood. The queen bed was super comfy and my son didn't complain about the futon. They have done very nice reno's to the condo, which added to it's comfort. The only negative was the internet response time. Would definitely stay again.

The guest house looks just as pictured - cute, spacious, and very clean! Great location just a short walk to St. Charles St. with a safe parking spot included. Couldn't ask for anything more. We'll definitely stay here again!
