Enjoy the charm of New Orleans living in an historic Victorian Camelback, built in 1861.

Close to everything; walk 3 blocks to world famous Commanders Palace, stroll down oak and mansion lined St. Charles Ave, go antiquing on Magazine St, ride the St. Charles Streetcar down to the French Quarter or up to the Universities and Audubon Park, visit the WWII Museum, and dine at any of the myriad of restaurants that make New Orleans a foodie paradise.

This lovingly restored one bedroom, one bath apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway. Enormous pocket doors, high ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the porch are just a few of the architectural details to delight the eye. The beautiful new kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, if you ever get tired of dining out. The living room is large and comfortable with satellite TV, WiFi and a sofa bed. The bedroom has a super comfy memory foam queen size bed and a black-out roman shade for the mornings you want to sleep in. Bathroom access is through the bedroom so it is more suited for a couple or a small family. High quality linens and towels are provided. Off-street parking is conveniently located across the street.

Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. ​Due to the nature of our small business we are generally unable to offer late check-outs or early check-ins.

Reservations are not guaranteed until first payment is received.

Some Special Events and stays of 30 days or longer may require a larger refundable Security Deposit and/or additional cleaning fees, to be determined at time of booking.

What makes this apartment unique

Our home is an historic shotgun camelback double built in 1861. Somewhere down the line it was converted into a 4 plex but it still retains many of the architectural flourishes that make New Orleans homes so charming. We love this old house and have been slowly restoring it to its original beauty. The neighborhood is perfect for us; we're a block from the streetcar, walking distance to so much, and our neighbors are wonderful. We enjoy this property immensely and intend to live here for a very long time.

Cute place with an unbeatable location.

What a wonderful place to enjoy the city of New Orleans from. The apartment itself is super cute, and has been updated just enough to keep its time earned charm, but allows for easy meal prep and a comfortable stay. It oozes charm.

The location is unbeatable in my mind. A very short walk to St. Charles and all its restaurants and the historic street car. The central location worked very well for my family, and was the catalyst for a wonderful few days. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Honestly, I can't say enough good things, and we're looking forward to staying there again when we launch our next New Orleans adventure.

Great place and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable home. It is conveniently located in the Garden District within walking distance to the street car and Magazine street. The owners had off the street parking available so we were able to park our car and use the Street car and Uber to see everything we wanted to during our stay. The guest house is laid out nicely and felt very spacious. The bedroom is in the back so you do not hear any noise from the street. We were exhausted one night during our stay and decided to stay in and binge watch a show on Netflix so it was very nice the owners provided that service. Overall I would recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Make sure you walk down to District Donuts Sliders Brew for breakfast when you get in.. you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful apartment!

We spent our honeymoon here recently and we absolutely loved it! We would visit again in a heartbeat! The apartment itself is gorgeous and very well-maintained. Lovely high ceilings, wood floors, fireplaces, and architectural details. The kitchen was well-equipped and the whole place was very clean. Corinna and Michael were easy to communicate with and very helpful and responsive. Easy 1-1/2 block walk to the St. Charles Streetcar, to get out and about in the city. A wonderful place to stay in NOLA!

Comfy small house walking distance to Magazine street. One and a half blocks from St. Charles street car which takes you all the way to the French Quarter. Lovely outdoor porch perfect for morning coffee. We will be back.

Excellent location with public transportation just up the street. Great place from which to explore Garden District and Magazine Street. Corinna and Michele are lovely hosts. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. I appreciate the small extras...the treats, the organic shampoo and soap, the fact that linens are sterilized. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to staying again, or maybe in the sister apartment. Thanks!
