Welcome to Sweet Suite Retreat! This lovely studio apartment exudes San Francisco charm and is located in the best part of Noe Valley!! Walk to shops, restaurants, easy access to public transportation. Private entrance, full kitchen, laundry and garden access. Fresh coffee, tea, fruits and snacks available.
I love our lovely vibrant city. I work as an ob/gyn and enjoy meeting guests from all over the world.
Michelle Bourgault purchased this studio in 1992
central San Francisco with access to public transportation, on 24 divisadero line, two blocks from the J Church train to downtown and 15 minutes walk to the BART station to East Bay or down to the Airport. I love the sunny climate of Noe Valley (most of the time:)
and the wonderful neighborhood restaurants and shops.
separate entrance. Central to public transportation throughout the city.
Michelle's studio was perfect for my extended weekend in SF! Close enough to everything but just far away enough from the city center so you have a local neighborhood feel.
Getting around is easy. A MUNI bus stop is just steps away if you want to use public transportation. The easiest way to get to the Union Square area by MUNI is to take a bus to Castro and 17th and then transfer to an underground MUNI at the Castro station. It's not difficult at all! Those undergrown trains can take you to straight to Powell Street or the Embarcadero. If you prefer the car share route, a number of Ubers always seem to be in the neighborhood. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes after I requested a ride. If you want to ride solo, the trips to and from the Union Square area seem to run anywhere from $10-18 depending on the time of day. If you don't mind doing an Uber pool, I don't think I spent more than $9 to get to the downtown area. If you want to explore the 24th Street area and the Mission neighborhood, both are easily accessible if you want to be a cool kid and get away from the tourist-y downtown.
I must mention that Michelle is super cool! You'll appreciate how responsive she is to your messages. She really does make you feel like you have a home away from home in SF. A bottle of wine for you when you get there because, hey, this is SF. The little chocolates were very nice too.
The studio has everything you would need as a home base for your SF trip. A kitchen with a stove and refrigerator makes it possible to go shopping at the farmers' markets and have all those goodies readily available for midnight snacks. There's a heater if you get chilly at night. There's also a closet with extra towels and blankets in the event you need them.
Like I said earlier, I would definitely stay at Michelle's sweet suite again ... and again ... and again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Michelle provided everything we needed and more. The wine & chocolates held a touch of romance and cleanliness was top notch. Thanks for everything!
Loved everything about the place! Great location near transit options and shopping/dining, and had everything we needed. Michelle stopped by after we arrived to welcome us and explain some of the features of the flat, which was very kind and helpful. There was even wine and chocolate waiting for us! Highly recommend this place and especially appreciate Michelle's quick responses to any questions we had.
This adorable apartment was just perfect! We were able to meet Michelle as soon as we arrived, and she showed us around the apartment and was very helpful. The first full day we were in SF, I lost my ID! It flew out of my wallet when we were on the Golden Gate Bridge right into the bay. So, I had my government ID sent overnight, and Michelle was kind enough to have it in the apartment when we came back for the day! The apartment was VERY clean, and the bed was VERY comfortable. What a great place to relax after experiencing all SF has to offer throughout the day. Thank you Michelle!!
We had afresh to run San Francisco. The house was in a great locations d had everything we needed. Michelle greeted us with wine, chocolate and fruit. She also left a book full of tips and information on public transportation. This was an awesome place, thank you!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Suite Retreat! Our host Michelle helped us when we needed it, and gave us our privacy for the rest of our stay. We loved the decor, the suite was very clean, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and Ghiradelli chocolates! The rental is steps from a bus line, which was very convienient to see the city. We would definitely stay there again.
