Ashley purchased this lodge in 2001
I did not buy the property..I built it myself. I am a licensed General Contractor and finished the construction of the home in 2001. This is a true hand hewn and peeled log lodge with 18' Spruce Logs that came right out of the North Fork country 40 miles north of the lodge. Montana is my favorite place. I wanted to raise my children in an unspoiled environment that was not full of concrete, asphalt, and cars. I have never known such kind, unpretentious, honest, sincere and friendly people as I have in Montana. it is people that matter in this world...Not things... And true Montana people are committed to this Philosophy. Get to know us. We are sure you will agree.
This... My Montana property will always be my home. I built it with my own hands, raised my family here, and gave this place my heart. The peace I get from walking to the barn on a long summer evening at 10:00 PM when the sun is just setting, The pleasure of using my four wheeler to plow the driveway on a moonlit night, the time spent fly fishing and hunting with my children, the days of hiking and hunting with my three boys, the kindness and love from my neighbors; All add up to a lifetime. I will cherish these memories forever.
We wanted a Glacier Family Reunion and everyone from all ages had a blast! The facilities were clean and the property was absolutely gorgeous, the pictures definitely do not do it justice! We had a handful of kids so Ashley set up a children's area for us with kids furniture, movies, rugs, and games. She was amazing. The staff was so hospitable and the weather was amazing. We can't wait for our next reunion at the lodge! We loved Glacier Park and all the Flathead Valley had to offer!
This worked perfectly for our sibling family reunion, plus our kiddoss, and it was so nice having the place to ourselves. I loved how the kids could play outside without worry while we relaxed comfortably in the main house, usually with some wine. The older kids enjoyed sleeping in the cabins, but I can see how they could make for a romantic couples getaway. Luxurious accommodations and comfy beds. Can't wait until next time!
I booked this facility 6 months ago, received confirmation, planned my event. One week before event I was sent an email that I needed to find a new venue. They gave the facility to new client paying more money. Without regard to my guests who had travel plans (flights, time off work, caterers, etc)
My family and I stayed at the Lodge over the 2014 Thanksgiving holiday. We were greeted by Ashley, who was so helpful, as the Lodge is so conveniently located in the Flathead Valley. The place was clean and sharp and felt like a real home! We are looking forward to more vacations there. It was our best vacation ever!!
Glacier Mountain Lodge was everything our family could have hoped for and more. We booked the entire property for our family reunion. Ashley was very insightful and helpful in planning our events, recommending restaurants, and being providing answers to all of our questions. Outside of recreational activities, the accommodations were exceptionally clean, luxurious, and relaxing. I can't wait to go back.. We are already planning a family winter retreat!
To say that Glacier Mountain Lodge is a fabulous place would be an understatement to be sure!
From its location in Montana's Flathead Valley, to the beauty of this incredible lodge and its serene surroundings, to its proximity to some of the greatest scenic areas of America, Glacier Mountain Lodge may be one of the most desirable vacation rentals in the United States.
But even more than all of the beauty, the incredible views, and the spotting of wildlife at every turn; what makes Glacier Mountain Lodge a special, special place are the people associated with its ownership, management, maintainence and operation.
Meeting and becoming friends with the awesome team that enables lodge guests to have a beautiful setting and perfect accomodations was the highlight of our week in Columbia Falls. It made the much-anticipated trip for our annual golf event one that will be talked about for a generation. We only hope that the same dedicated staff and ownership will still be around when we return!
The people associated with Glacier Mountain Lodge make the difference!
