Coast Haven vacation rental is a located on Scenic Beach Loop Rd in Bandon, Oregon 97411 on the Southern Oregon Coast.
You will find that Coast Haven is on the beach and dunes. Walk out the door to the beach where you will find endless sandy beaches with unusual rock formations called hay stacks and tidal pools around rocks where you will find plenty of sea life to check out.
There are always lots of birds scurrying around and you might even see some Tufted Puffin’s on one of the rock formations. When whales are migrating you can sometimes see them breaching or breathing through their blowholes.
The activities are endless be it golf, beachcombing, horseback riding on the beach, surf sailing, kite boarding, fishing, crabbing, hiking, biking. You might even want to BBQ some oysters, fresh fish or a delicious steak on the Webber BBQ on the beach.
Coast Haven is for the beach lover but also for the person that wants awesome views and still be close to town, great dining and golf.
Coast Haven has lots of windows facing north and south giving you views up and down the beach.
But that’s not all if you go to the upper deck after the sunsets and look to the south you will see the Cape Blanco Lighthouse light flashing on a clear night. Now take a moment and imagine what it must have been like 100 years ago at the lighthouse.
Every bedroom has a view.

You know it's the best get-a-way for us. It's like having a true home on the beach for one week each year. And both of you do a great job of being welcoming, accommodating, and of maintaining "our" house:) Thanks!
A spacious rental house, privately situated on a dirt road cul-de-sac next to the beach, affords wonderful 180-degree views. Cleanliness of house, including 2 bathrooms, kitchen and kitchen-ware, laundry room, bed and bathroom linens was impressive. Comforts of home are provided. (1 caveat - because access is only by staircases, access for the very young or very old may be problematic). Hope to be here again for a longer time someday.
The reservation process with property management was helpful, informative and efficient.
Better than the pictures. The view is stunning, I could have sat for weeks and just looked at the ocean.
We enjoyed beach walking, horse backing riding on the beach, and the local shops were fun too.
If there is wind, it's a good idea to make sure all of the chairs are anchored down or brought inside.
The wind will whip them into the doors and glass.
We plan to visit again and hope to stay longer next time.
We spent a perfect week in this wonderful home. What pure joy! The house was just as described right on the beach with very easy access and truly amazing views of the ocean. It was very clean and generously furnished with nice linens and all kinds of cooking needs. This home really spoiled us with it's comfort and we can't wait to go back again.
This home is in an ideal location if you want to be as close to the ocean as possible. It is at the end of a small dirt road, with one house on the right and nothing on the left. It feels as if you have the area all to yourself. We stayed here in July with our two beach-loving border collies, and everyone (two people and two dogs) loved it! We slept with the windows open and the sound of the ocean stays with you all night. During the day if not at the beach we just sat on the deck and looked west. Perfect. If you want quiet and want to be left alone to enjoy the beach, stay here. Our only complaint about this place (and it doesn't keep us from giving it 5 stars) is that the decor is very white, bland and sterile--why not add some charming beach accessories (that are readily available in the cute shops in town)? But after all, the beach is the star attraction. We still loved this place and would stay here again. Favorite shopping item: the adorable paintings by Todd Steele available at the gallery in town. We took a cute pelican painting home as our Bandon souvenir.
We have stayed here twice before (under different management) and have another four night stay booked for September. Bandon is our favorite place on the Oregon coast and an almost five hour drive from Portland and worth every mile. We have stayed in two other lodgings in Bandon and this is hands down the best. The location is great a little farther down from Face Rock and the large motel there. The privacy is wonderful. Located on a dead end road with scrub on one side and one house on the other. The views are fantastic with great views from every room and as the picture shows you are right on the beach. The house has everything you could need. Feels very spacious and light and clean. Highly recommended.
