Wonderful location for four generation beach vacation

  • 5 of 5

We were pleased to find this welcoming home large enough to comfortably accommodate the four generations of our family making the trip from Kentucky to Michigan for a beach vacation and annual family reunion. The open floor plan allowed us to enjoy each others company while preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen , dining and lounging in the living room area. The well maintained yard allowed room for our 3 and 4 year old to explore and expend some energy. Information provided about the home was complete and very helpful. We enjoyed the experience at Holland State Park and also enjoyed a morning on a rented pontoon boat on Lake Macatawa. We found the location ideal since it was close enough to the beach and other attractions but far enough away to avoid the crowds which allowed us to have quiet times and enjoy the best of both worlds.

This was our first time renting the property. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay at this beautiful house.

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location in Holland. Great house, especially for large families. During our stay we enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, game room and the local beach at the state park. Sitting on the deck in the evening was relaxing and very private. Would stay there again when we're in the area. Thanks to the owner for providing such a wonderful family vacation environment. Our visitors from Ireland were amazed at the accommodations and the beauty of the surrounding area.

Cozy/open concept home in a beautiful location with lots of amenities!

  • 5 of 5

This place is awesome for large groups! We stayed in this house the week of our wedding at Windmill Island with our bridal party. The open concept was perfect, we had lots of room to hang out and get ready the day of the wedding. My family members rented other houses in the area the same week and our was by far the best. The hot tub, kayaks, games, hammock, ect. are all awesome perks to this beautiful home. My aunt rented a house down the street for the same price and it did not come with anything extra and had minimal parking. We will forever have memories of this home, I hope some day we can come back. Rob is great to work with, he always answered emails in a timely manner. I highly recommend this rental property!

A relaxing retreat with all the trimmings!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of nine; aunts, uncles and cousins, found exactly what we were looking for in this spacious lake house. We had plenty of room to enjoy meals together, play board games, ping pong and pool. Even in December the walks on the Lake Michigan beach had the feel of being out in a wild natural setting. Coming back to the house for a dip in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day.

The house is an easy drive to the quaint downtown for shopping and dining. Well supplied grocery stores and even an asian/mexican grocery were right down the street. We had no problem cooking for our crowd on the gas range and making cookies in the convection oven.

Even without the snow we had hoped for we found plenty to keep us busy. Though we could see how amazing it would be to visit in the warmer months when we saw the boats, bikes and outdoor fire pit available for our use.

The house was very clean and there were no signs of insects or mold that sometimes are a hidden problem when going somewhere for the first time.

We loved our long winter weekend at the Holland House! Thank you to our hosts for a great place to get away to.
