Thank you for the rental of your lodge at Bear Lake. It was the most amazing and relaxing vacation that we have had in years. Perfect cabin in the perfect location. Thanks again and we will be booking again soon.
I visited High Country lodge for a girls weekend and our stay couldnnot have been more perfect! The home is beautiful and spacious and has everything you need for a fun getaway! Bear Lake was sonaccomodating to our group - they scheduled private yoga by the lake, a lunch, a hike. The property is a real gem in the mountains! I hope to be able to return to one day!!
Beautiful home, wonderful hosts!
High Country Lodge was a perfect stay. We have rented many homes in the NC mountains. This was the first home that truly had it all. From the well equipped kitchen(with a pantry), to the outdoor fireplace and comfy den. Loved our nights grilling and having dinners in front of the outdoor fireplace. The home’s beautiful decor and art pieces are a daily viewing experience! The highlight of our stay was hiking and discovering the many waterfalls! The Clarks are wonderful hosts and do everything to make your stay an enjoyable experience.
Fun, Relaxing getaway for the entire family!!!
William is a fantastic host with an amazing home. We did not have any difficulties with the house. The home is stocked with anything and everything you could think of needing. With lots of space, it was great for entertaining our family of 8 adults. We really enjoyed the many board game options, the back deck, the fireplace outside, you can't forget about the soothing steam shower, and all the amenities Bear Lake Reserve has to offer. There were many trails easily accessible that were cleared out making for no confusion of where to go. The clubhouse is fantastic if you want to play some pool, shuffle board, ping pong, or watch a movie. Can't wait to visit their home again!
Awesome cabin in a great location

We will be visiting again.
Outstanding home and perfect solitude.
