Why The Owner chose Okanagan-Similkameen H

This is the perfect property for our family as it is only 3.5 hr drive from our home in Vancouver. Its a fabulous place to be all year round this isn't just a summertime place every season has its fun and adventures.

What makes this cottage unique

Nice, quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle while you unwind and reconnect with nature. While there are other cabins on the lake you can sit on our deck or dock and look across to nothing but trees and the serenity of the Kettle Valley Railway, which is decommissioned and used for recreational purposes only, such as; bikes, ATV's, hiking or horseback riding.

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The Bears Den in every way was what we were looking for. Everything is very usable and labeled. The cabin is spacious, clean and very welcoming. Being a VRBO rental owner myself it definitely opened my eyes as to what I should have for guests just in case they forgot something. I highly recommend the Bears Den to all ages and at anytime of the year. We all left feeling very refreshed and energized.

Fantastic Place!

Second Stay

  • 5 of 5

Our second stay... almost two weeks. Absolutely love the atmosphere and amenities at the Bear's den.

Didn't matter if it was a sunny day on the lake or a stormy night, was always fun and relaxing.

An excellent spot for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 days at the Bears Den and already can't wait to go again! When they say that it is a loaded cabin they mean it! Boats, life jackets, water toys, kitchen essentials, videos/DVDs, and more! They even have a tree fort that my kids could not get out of! I would highly recommend this place to anyone (and already have!)

A great weekend at the Bear's Den

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 days at the Bears Den on Osprey Lake with our daughter, husband and 2 grandkids ages 2 and 4.

The weekend could not have been better, nothing was lacking. Toys for the grandkids, fishing gear, boat, motor, life jackets for all. Movies to watch in the evening and a cozy fire. Everything was there for all our cooking needs, pots pans, spices, etc.

Comfortable beds for all and total peace and quiet through the night.

Look forward to returning again next year.

Regards

Doug & Fatih
