Welcome to Glacier's Reach in Whistler! Our townhouse is located in the heart of Whistler Village, surrounded by mountains and minutes from all of the shopping and amenities you'll need to enjoy a fabulous vacation. Our unit is a corner unit, and the deck is very private. In addition to providing you with a comfortable mountain retreat, we also provide:

- a Beachcomber hot tub with jets and lights on a covered deck with a view of Blackcomb mountain. The hot tub is not on the ground floor, it's located on the second floor deck next to the living room area, and is not visible to passers-by.

- free high-speed wireless internet access

- a heated outdoor pool that can be seen from our living room (not a view of busy Lorimer Rd.!) and a poolside hot-tub, sauna and a fitness room

- free, secured underground parking

About Tamara

We are a family of four who live in Whistler. We are very active skiers, both of our girls ski-race in the winter and ride bikes downhill and cross-country in the summer. Their activities keep us very busy on the mountains! We love everything that Whistler has to offer - and there is no shortage of activities, of that we are certain!

Tamara purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Tamara chose Whistler

We bought our townhouse because we spend a lot of time in Whistler. We have two properties in Whistler, and we thought Glacier's Reach would be a good complex to have a home in because of the private hot tub, the pool, and since it so conveniently close to the village and the mountain gondolas.

What makes this townhome unique

Our girls love the hot tub and the pool, they enjoy the sauna and being directly across from the Marketplace Plaza, we're never far from great restaurants or easy access to shopping.

Great location, private jacuzzi

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. There was plenty of room for the three of us, and all the ammenities we needed for a week away from home. We made most meals in the unit, which worked out great. It was great having a private jacuzzi on the deck. The location is directly across from "The Marketplace" and the beginning of the "Valley Stroll" through the center of town. It was close enough to walk to everything, but not in the busy "downtown" area. Secure parking under the unit. The owner (Denise) was very responsive. Highly recommend.

This was by far the best condo we have ever stayed in while on a ski vacation. The condo was directly across the street from the bus line to get to the gondolas (only a few stops away) or a 10 minute walk through the village. Excellent location for going out in the village as well. Grocery and liquor stores are across the street as well. We had 4 adults and accommodations were perfect. We also enjoyed the fact that we could keep our gear downstairs. Only recommomendation is more towels (2 per guest) so that there is one for showers and one for hot tubbing, as the washing machine can only hold 3 towels at a time. We hope to stay here next time we come to Whistler!

Great Value and Location can't be beat

The location is right across the street from a liquor store, grocery store, the village and free shuttle to base of ski hills. You can just park your car and leave it until you go home. (Note that the parking is no longer assigned stalls. Just park in any free stall and display your tag.)

Check-in/check-out and all dealings with the owner were very easy. The hot tub was great and it was more private being on the top floor. The unit is fairly quiet but still had to wear ear plugs at night to make sure I wasn't disturbed by the partiers returning home from the village and the snoring roommates.

Kitchen is well stocked, and a quick phone call to the maintenance contact got us enough towels for our group of 5 adults.

All in all a great place and awesome value. I would recommend for an adult trip or family. The complex is great for large groups because there are so many units for rent by various owners and agencies, just beware that the numbering of the units makes no sense so allow extra time to find your friends staying elsewhere in the complex and give the pizza guy really good instructions.

Great experience, great location!

Our group of 6 stayed for 5 days and had a great time. The jacuzzi with the view really made it so much better when coming in after a long day on the slopes. The home was clean and furnished well, to accommodate our group. Owner is responsive to messages and very helpful, even when we arrived and couldn't find the place. Someone met up with us to get us checked in which was great!

Some things I would point out: having more large towels, perhaps a dozen, softer towels, would be awesome. Also, the bedroom with the queen bed has a window net which is too small for the actual window. We also were pretty disappointed that the community pool was closed, not sure why. But the jacuzzi on the balcony made up for that.

Overall, would recommend this location! Will probably be back in the future to book again.

Ideal Whistler Condo

This was our first trip to Whistler, and I feel lucky we chose this unit. The unit was clean, well maintained, well equipped, and makes a nice first impression. The location was excellent and just steps away from Whistler village. We are VRBO property owners ourselves, and we appreciated the comfort and attention to detail put into this unit. We would gladly book this unit again.

Best Location and Unit

This was my 3rd stay in Glacier's Reach and the 3rd unit I have stayed in. It is my preferred and now my favorite unit. It got 5 starts in total because :

Tamara is great to communicate and work with. I like to deal with owners who can respond quickly to my questions and inquiries via email. You're a Gem Tamara and thank you so much.

The location is top floor, hidden behind big trees and the patio is private. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the views! You are across the street from everything you need in the village. The chair lifts are minutes away and you are within steps of numerous dining and shopping options. It is also nice to know that you have parked your car in secured underground parking.

The weekend was so enjoyable and comfortable. I only like to share feedback when my experience has exceeded expectations and this one did. This home will be my #1 choice in our next visit.. If you are contemplating - I highly recommend it.
