Guestbook comments from the manager

What a wonderful way to spend our Spring Break in this beautiful cabin. We really appreciate the big TV over the fireplace, and this was one of the few cabins that you could still use the fireplace this time of year and allows dogs, but we didn't bring ours this time because he's just a pup, maybe next time. It's nice having the loft;an extra place to go hang out & play video games. It was also nice having the jacuzzi tub and TV in the bedroom. It was so relaxing & the large windows in the living area are beautiful. We made use of the laundry room, that is so convenient, to keep up on the laundry. All the amenities of home. Its so cozy, & has spoiled us,hotels will not seem the same after our stay here. There is so much to do, there is not enough time to do it all. And the weather held out. Even though it snowed it a little we were still able to make it over to Laurel Falls and that was amazing. We really enjoyed it. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cabin.

Can't wait to come back!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year staying at the cabin and we had a great time as before! The cabin was in perfect shape and so comfortable. It really felt like we were at a place of our own. I would recommend this place to anyone! Can't wait to go back next year! Thank you again!

Needs some serious TLC

  • 2 of 5

First the positive. It was the perfect size for the three of us. It had plenty of items for the kitchen. And it provided the linens that we needed for the beds and the bathrooms. The hot tub was nice. Now the negative. The carpet upstairs in the Loft needs to be replaced as it is ripped up. The floors were very dirty. The shower head was moldy and rusty and the water didn't come out of it very well. The shower floor was very very dirty. A good scrub with some Coment would do the trick I think. The kitchen, although well-stocked, was very disorganized and the cupboards were very dirty inside. The fireplace did not work even though the pilot was on and the valve was open. When I reached out to management to let them know they told me to call somebody to get it fixed. I thought that should have been there job to call and get it fixed not the person renting the cabin. So that was very disappointing. Finally, although pets are allowed, it's not really a pet-friendly location as there is nowhere for the pets to go when they need to be let out. It's on a very steep road.

Not bad

  • 2 of 5

Wasn't a bad property but definitely agree the cleaning crew could do a better job.

If you move the night stands there is nasty gross things. Also there was nasty hair in the hot tub. Definitely wasn't cleaned! The decor is never dusted and really should be updated. I'm not really picky but at least should be clean! Then the cabin sleeps 6 there should be at least 6 of things like dishes and towels to use! There was only 3 towels! But wasn't terrible, the location was ok. We did get some bears both days although they woke us up at 6:30am because they were trying to get in the trash cans! There isn't a lot of room for parking when someone got into the cabin across from us it was hard to get out of drive.

Also the check out time is too early! I mean you don't get in until 3pm but you have to be up so early to pack and get out by 10:00am or get charged 50.00!

Most hotels and cabins are at least 11:00-12:00 and for such a small cabin doesn't take 4 hrs to clean!

So would be more reasonable to get out by 11:30am!

Property was phenomenal, management company was horrendous

  • 3 of 5

Pros: Cabin was beautiful

Whe had a bear come under the cabin

View was beautiful

We had a neighbor playing guitar almost daily

Beds were comfortable

Cons: property was not ready for check in

Could NOT get management to reply regarding confirmation about check in. Finally got info at 2 pm on day of check in.

Property was NOT cleaned at 4 pm for check in

Had to call to get property cleaned, was told to leave for 3 hours to get property cleaned.

Extremely low amount of kitchen utensils. One tiny pot and one frying pan (we made due)

Bathtub jets didn't work

Grill was 3/4 inoperational

Drive up was 95% good 5% scary but the parking situation is ridiculous with cabin across the way. Please inform people that stay they MUST park right against cabin otherwise other cabin is stuck and can't leave

Other than the HORRIBLE management i would rent the cabin again.
