The pool furniture was embarrassing for friends and family and the pool table only had one pool stick but was told if I go buy one I would be reimbursed
Dear Raymond: very sorry for the inconvenience. We will replace the pool furniture as soon as possible.
Beautiful home with all the comforts and so close to Disney!
Our family had A GREAT time. Aina was readily available to us and made sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a couple of challenges and she was immediately on them. Aina was great to us and accommodating to all our needs. If I ever find myself in Orlando again, I will be back. Our family had a beautiful time. Thank you for opening your home to us.
Spacious house close to Disney
Although we found the upstairs master bedroom bare to the mattress with bed linen and cover on the floor upon our arrival, overall the house was clean and comfortably accommodated our party of 12 people. The owner was responsive to our emails. Upon being called, the property manager offered to come and make the bed. He assured us that the bedding was clean, and hence we declined his offer and made the bed ourselves. We found the master bedroom downstairs to be lacking in sufficient air conditioning. The ceiling fan helped provided the door was left open. Although the listing refers to a games room, it is more a junk collection room than a games room. There is a pool table which has seen its better days. There is one cue stick and two broken cues. It seams like the cleaners use it as storage for old items such as, mattress, old coffee table, old headboards, old stove, old patio door screen and garbage, and old pool noodles around the hot water heater, The PVC patio furniture is in need of replacement. We would return to this house in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to give me a list of things to do. Already asked the property manager to do the following:
1, Replace the patio furniture
2. clean out the any unnecessary items in the game room
3. replace the game table
4. address the air condition issue in the downstairs master bedroom.
If I remember correct, you have been coming here for several times already. I really appreciate your patronage and timely feedback. Will do my best to earn your loyalty year after year.
see you again next year.
Really nice place with lots of room.
Looking through listings for our desired dates, I came across this place. It looked really nice, and was priced reasonably. I wondered what the difference was between this place and place that were ~50% more expensive.
The location is great. Emerald Island is very close to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (~12 minute drive) . My son and nephews visited the gym at the clubhouse, and said it was pretty small, but adequate (and 18+). We didn't do the community pool.
The house was quite spacious. I loved that everyone in our party of 11 had their own bed. I also didn't hear any complaints about the beds, and mine was pretty comfortable. The "game room" in the garage is just a pretty beat-up pool table, old couches, and some stuff they have in storage. If this aspect is REALLY important to you, this is probably a difference between this level of property and the more expensive places.
The kitchen wasn't all that well stocked, either. The pots and pans were cheap Walmart crap that had all the nonstick worn out. I also needed a Pyrex dish to do scrambled eggs in the oven (cooking for 11). No dice there, either. So, after settling in, I did a quick inventory, and bought cheap pans and a Pyrex at Walmart. I figured that since this place was ~$100/night cheaper than others this size, that I could spend $25 at Walmart for basics that I needed. I left the stuff behind, thinking I'd pay it forward. We stayed for 10 nights, so the one time inconvenience of $25 is a small price to pay vs a $1000 savings. My advice to to do a quick inspection of the cooking materials, and buy whatever is missing/inadequate.
Also, just a heads up. The master bath looks like a whirlpool tub from the photos, but it is not. So, if you want a warm whirlpool soak, pay for the pool heat. The jacuzzi doesn't have separate heat from the pool. And the pool area was adequate for our needs. The grill was a large, newer cheap big box model, and worked well for our needs.
Now, I'm not sure that those "higher-end" pricier places would have those issues or not. With where this place was priced, I expected some of these coming in. I'm glad I looked before I had to run to the store a second time.
Overall, this place is a good value, and I would recommend it to others. Just don't expect high-end luxury, but a comfortable place wit plenty of space.
Large house, okay accomodations
Overall the house worked very well for our group of 16. A few things that weren't good include: we killed 6 cockroaches while there, 2 of the beds box springs squeaked every time you moved waking up the person sleeping on them, the main floor master bedroom and bathroom were much warmer than the rest of the main floor, there were 2 extra mattresses but no sheets for them (I needed to use one as the main floor bed is extremely soft and I have back problems) and 2 patio chairs had legs falling off. We did enjoy ourselves, but the accommodations need a little upkeep.
Thanks for the feed back. In warm climate like Florida, if a door is left open, then cockroaches and other pests could easily get into the house. We pay professionals monthly to control pests, so this type of incident is very rare.
Have immediately asked the property manager to address all the issues mentioned in the review.
Great spacious Villa in a perfect location
Can't speak highly enough of Aina or James, very quick to come back to queries and probably the most accommodating owners we've ever rented from.
The house itself was great, very specious with loads of bathrooms and large rooms, the best quality of bed sheets we have ever experienced in Florida. The 2 kings suited our party perfectly as did having independant air con for both upstairs and downstairs. The location great for everything being central on the 192, we got to disney in about 10 minutes one day which is amazing. Plenty places to eat etc locally too.
Only down side would be the pool furniture needs to be renewed at the wooden table and chairs is not suitable and some of the plastic furniture needs updating.
What more can i say, would definitely book this villa again!
