LOCATION

This property is located an ideal distance from the University of Washington and all its sport facilities (just blocks), Downtown Seattle (just moments by car, cab, or bus), and near countless other activities and points of interests. Right on the border between the University District and Ravenna neighborhoods, there are countless restaurants, bars, shops, movie theaters, museums, coffeehouses, and places to participate in outdoor activities mere moments from stepping out the apartment's door. A bus stop to take you downtown is but a block away so whether you want to explore by foot or a bit further afield, the apartment is a perfect place to begin and return at day's end.

SLEEPING

Rest comfortably and peacefully in one of two delightfully detailed bedrooms. Each bedroom is newly decorated with deluxe queen size mattresses along with 300-thread count queen-size pillows, 380-thread count hotel fine linens, & 310-count down comforters, topped with beautiful duvets. In each large closet there are two spa quality robes hanging for your comfort and enjoyment. By each bed sits an alarm clock with iPod dock and charger to play your favorite music or charge your phone. A queen-sized air mattress is also available for up to two additional guests with cotton sheets, 400 thread count pillows, a sage comforter, and an automatic air pump.

THE KITCHEN

The apartment's fully appointed kitchen includes a four-burner gas range and oven, a Kenmore fridge & freezer with automatic ice maker, and a Kenmore dishwasher. Beautiful red leather bar stools provide seating for four along the breakfast bar. The kitchen also features white wooden cabinets, a new microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker with complimentary Starbucks French Roast beans for your enjoyment.

THE LIVING ROOM

All new furnishings adorn the living room. Modern meets grace and comfort as you stretch out or cuddle up on the luxe cushioned couch. A gas fireplace fills the room with warmth and soft light in the evening. Hundreds of channels are available on the VIZIO HDTV - including numerous premium movie channels. If nothing is on TV to your liking, you may choose from the available diverse variety of DVDs & Blu-Rays that are provided for your enjoyment in the living room on the Sony Blu-Ray player. You may also enjoy simply playing a CD or listening to one of the many music channels as you read a book while comfortably seated on a leather chair, plush blanket over your lap, and feet up on a leather ottoman.

THE BATHROOM

A full bathroom provides Hotel Fine towels, a Spa Collection soft bath mat, hair dryer, complimentary shampoo and conditioner, Neutrogena Rainbath body wash, and wonderful shower/bath combination.

This area holds a special place in my heart as both a University of Washington alumni and someone who has spent over a decade living and exploring Seattle and the the incredible University District neighborhood. I love the energy and diversity of the people and activities the University District shares with all those who visit. Whether it is shopping and strolling through the University Village or along University Way, having a picnic under the cherry blossoms in the University of Washington campus quad, browsing the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings, taking a canoe through the arboretum on Lake Washington on a beautiful summer day, or just sitting and relaxing at one of countless local cafes - there is always something to do, to taste, and always another reason to live and stay in the University District. What makes this apartment unique

I am centrally located and only a few short blocks from the University of Washington Campus and a short bus, car, or cab ride from downtown Seattle. The countless other unique Seattle neighborhoods, each with their own individual identity - including, Fremont, Ballard, Capital Hill, Madison Park, & more - are only a short distance away and are exceptional places to explore and enjoy. Although close to campus and downtown, the property is a peaceful escape from pace of the city. On a clear day you can awake to the sun rising over the Cascade Mountains and Lake Washington from your private deck and when we get an occasional snow in the winter you can behold the same beauty bundled up inside next to the fire. Within minutes of stepping outside your door you can be walking or jogging along the Burke Gilman Trail or enjoy one of our favorite walking loops around Green Lake with a coffee in hand. Wonderful restaurants and cafes are within walkable distance whether you walk east or west. If you choose to stay in for the night our wonderfully appointed property can provide you with everything you could want or need for a relaxing and quiet evening. The property is well-appointed with all new furnishings and incredible amenities. Whether you are visiting Seattle for the first time, in the area for a local event or activity, staying for work, play, or visiting family or friends, I would be honored to share our home with you during your stay in Seattle.

Great location!

We had a great stay at this property. The location was perfect for walking around the University of Washington campus. The apartment was well laid out and stocked and we were very comfortable staying there. It was very quiet and in a good residential district. We would definitely stay here again.

Needs some TLC inside basement apartment

Perfect location for our purposes while visiting Seattle.....but the couch and back bedroom beds were uncomfortable. Ottoman in living room was broken down.....not enuf linens for blow up bed.....driveway was overgrown on right side. Walkway to side door needs to be trimmed....and I sweptthe sidewalk myself! Owner was very responsive prior to our arrival but needs to upgrade a bit. We still had fun visiting with family....

I have already reached out to my landscaper to ensure now that the sun has returned to Seattle the landscaping is kept well manicured so paths and plants are all pretty in their presentation. We also will begin to find ways to improve the furnishings - something we are always doing but always appreciate where to direct our focus on what items most need updating.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This was our second time staying at this great apartment. On this trip, because the weather was nice, we were able to enjoy the private deck out back. Everything is just as advertised - was very happy with the stay.

Location, location, location!

Terrific location for anything to do with UW, including the Medical Center.

Quiet neighborhood....no street noise at all. On-site, full-time, off-street parking is an extremely valuable amenity in the area. Don't count on the parking pass for an additional car....in all our comings and goings during the week, we only saw an open space once.

Another user mentioned the noise from the upstairs unit. We enjoyed the patter of children's feet a few times. On our last night I was forced to ask the upstairs renters to turn down their TV at 10:30 (either a very loud action movie or video game was the culprit I suspect) and they did so immediately. Otherwise no issues.

The unit is roomy, bright and cheerful with lots of natural light. The fireplace kept us cozy in the evening. Kitchen and bath were fine, with lots of hot water. Bedrooms very quiet with good shades, closets and beds. My bed was a bit oddly noisy which may be an issue for two sharing.

I would rent this unit again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in the university area.
