Townhome: 4 Independent apartments all with excellent views

A perfect place for couples, looking for a quiet romantic stay; families occupying one or two apartments; and larger groups that can occupy the whole house. It is ideal for family celebrations, gatherings, or special events.

This brand new house is located at the heart of the “World Legacy” neighborhood of Albaycín, a mostly stone-covered and pedestrian area. It is within 5 minute walking distance from downtown, restaurants, museums, the cathedral, Arab baths, and most other attractions, including the Alhambra Palace. The house has four fully furnished apartments, with views to the Alhambra, and a shared central patio. The apartments are totally independent, but can be connected on request.

The apartments are of two types

Type 1

Apartments A & B each have a master bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom on the ground floor; a living room with a double couch, an open kitchen and dining room, with views to the Alhambra on second floor. They also have an attic (very low ceiling) with two single beds. Each apartment can accommodate 2–6 people (two double beds and two single beds).

Type 2

Apartments C & D each have a master bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom on the ground floor; a living room with a double couch, an open kitchen and dining room on the second floor. These two apartments have a private terrace facing the Alhambra. Each apartment can accommodate 2–4 people (two double beds).

**The apartments are laid out on three levels:

First level: bedroom & bathroom

Second level: living room, dining room and kitchen

Third Level: attic (A & B), or private terrace (C & D)

Highly recommend

We stayed in one of the apartments with a view during the month of June. The view of the Alhambra was even better than the photos and the apartment location was wonderful. It is far enough in to experience the Albaicin, but still a close walk into downtown. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and had all of the necessities. We were met by Elena (sp?) who was incredibly helpful, kind and responsive for when we had questions. Her dining, sightseeing and activity recommendations were excellent.

In addition, I highly recommend using the shuttle service offered by Andrea as they will drop you right at the front door whereas taxis do not have close access to the apartment.

Very nice spot. Perfect location for walking around Granada. The best part about this place is the private balcony overlooking the Alhambra.

Nice Location

We have rented numerous apartments during our travels. In contrast to others we have rented (including 3 in Spain) we found this apartment to be delightful but somewhat sparse. It had the mere basics available, but you could tell it was a rental run by a management company, lacking the personal touch and character that we have seen in other places we have rented. Also - the air conditioning is rather cumbersome to operate- you must open the attic and climb the ladder in order to turn it on.

On the positive side, the apartment is in a great location with views of Al Hambra, and is walking distance to the City Center and up to the Saint Nicholas lookout (a 'must do' for the best views of the Al Hambra and the city). Except for the single pillow which runs the width of the bed, we found the bed to be very comfortable. The price was right, and having a washing machine after a week of traveling was a huge perk. Ellen, the apartment manager, was great, giving us recommendations of where to eat and how to access attractions.

If you have luggage, it's a bit of a hike up stairs and narrow alleys from where the taxi will drop you. I recommend asking for Andrea's private van which will pick you up and drop you at the front door. The price isn't much more than the cost of a taxi.

Great view

Antonio met us when we arrived at a restaurant nearby that was a bit easier to find than the house and then walked us to the house. The morning we left, he called a cab for us and met us at the house to make sure it arrived.

We stayed in apartment D which had an amazing rooftop terrace with stunning views of the Alhambra. The apartment has a very nice, spacious living room and kitchen area. The bedroom is on the first floor and is very basic but comfortable enough. The bathroom smelled a little musty but seemed perfectly clean.

Antonio was a great host. He took the time to explain the area with a detailed map. He stopped by to address a small issue with a window shade (nothing was wrong, it was just our user error). We visited 3 of his recommended restaurants and they were all excellent.

He was an excellent host.

Perect locataion in Granada - Highly Recommended

I can't add any praise to that given by others, all of which I agree with completely. The apartment we took was wonderful, and Antonio is a great host, although we would have liked to have wider wifi coverage as the ground floor and balcony were spotty at best. However, for anyone looking at the apartment or probably any other in the neighborhood, a word of forewarning - do not leave your windows open when you go out. We went out on day and there was nice breeze coming into the bedroom and as I moved to close the window my wife said I should leave it open because the bars were substantial. As a retired copper I shoulda' knowed better!! Person or persons unknown took advantage of the lightly traveled alleyways and fished my phone and charger right out of that window, and they were on the far side of the room, a good 12 feet from the window. The only happy news in the incident is that the perpetrator lost part of his "fishing" equipment in the process, an elaborate home-made device. Unless he has since been incarcerated, I'm sure he has made another by now.

Great apartment!

My wife and I stayed in one of Antonio's great apartments in the heart of the Albayzin. He has 4 individual private apartments all attached together and we rented one for the two of us. It is very safe and secure with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, full kitchen and living/dining area on the second floor, and a small private terrace on the third floor with a spectacular view of the Alhambra. There is also a shared patio between the apartments. Antonio was great to work with. He met us nearby and showed us where to park, the basics about the apartment and gave us some great suggestions about Granada and amazing nearby restaurants. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay, even helping carry our heavy luggage! He also speaks perfect English. He was very flexible about when we were to leave on our last day too. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to go back one day soon.
