I chose to buy at this location because it is the family end of town, away from the college bar scene.

One of the most sought out streets in Sea Isle/Townsend's Inlet to Buy / Vacation. This house has fantastic OCEAN VIEWS and is SO CLOSE to the BEACH! So easy to come back to the house from the beach if you forget something - it is not a major haul!

Sitting on the deck in the morning having coffee while looking at the ocean. Watching the sun rise over the ocean or breath taking sunsets over the bay from both decks - so serene & peaceful. At days end, having a glass of wine on the deck, while gazing at the ocean - it's mesmerizing. Enjoying a good book while lounging on the deck - feeling the ocean breeze, listening to the crash of the ocean waves and breathing in the fresh, crisp salt air.

Feeling safe while your kids are playing with other kids on the block-no through traffic! Close for them to walk to the beach too-without crossing any streets.

Great location, beautiful house, a great time was

We rented for a long weekend, it was a party of 7 people and there was plenty of room at the house for all of us. The owners were great to work with, they answered any questions I had promptly. It was great time had by all. We will definitely book again here.

Lovely House, Excellent Location

This was our first visit to Sea Isle City, and we really found a winner! The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is very close to the beach. The pictures are all accurate and there is plenty of room to spread out. We loved sitting out on the deck when our beach day was done. We were able to meet the owner on our way down, and she gave us lots of information and great ideas for restaurants. We had a WONDERFUL time!

Great Location, Town, and Beach

We had a great time on our week stay. The location was great! Deck with an ocean view. Sunsets on the bay side, sun rises on the ocean side.The Beach was seconds away and beautiful....The town and restaurants were excellent. I would recommend it.

Nice house in great location

We were happy with this house - very close to beach and you could see and hear the waves from the deck. New deck and stairs. Had three generations staying there and all were happy. Clean beach and warm water. House photos and information is all accurate. It was clean and in good shape. Room for 4 cars (we had 3), and storage area for bikes, chairs, etc. Owners were more than helpful, providing info about area and house. Met them on way in and they were very nice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice house with an ocean view and a minute walk to the beach. Felt very safe and relaxed - family area.

There is a great restaurant (Sunset Pier) on 86th street on bay side - great place to see sunset, good food, excellent service, and BYOB - easy walk. Also a mini-market and gift shop and ice cream place also around 86th street, a short walk (the blocks are very short, 2 houses long). Plaza with Acme Market, CVS, Sands gift/dept store, Uncle Oogies Pizza, and video game place is a short drive or walk at 62nd street, 18 short blocks away. You can get everything you need there - food, clothes, beach gear, really everything. Sports plex behind plaza on bay side - with play areas for little ones, soccer field, baseball field, basketball courts, and tennis courts (fee for tennis). Downtown area with shops and restaurants is around 40th street - a short bike ride or drive away. And they have a beach promenade from about 57th St to 30th St.

Second time in Sea Isle City, and we really like it. Quiet family town with many fun things to do. Good sea food restaurants downtown in Fish Alley - Mike's is famous, very good, and cheap - but very long wait. Marie's next door is also very good, shorter wait but more expensive. We went to both different nights. Also can get take out.

Cape May is a 20 minute drive south. Wildwood (with a crazy boardwalk for teens and twenties with big rides, shops, restaurants) just before Cape May. Ocean City (also with a fun boadwalk with shops, games, rides, restaurants) is 15 minutes north, great for families. We like to go there for a night.

Excellent location

We enjoyed our recent stay at this property. Its location is its biggest asset. It is only four doors from the best part of the Sea Isle Beach - which is right at the end of the street with no cross street to cross. However, if you don't feel like walking about 100 feet to the beach, you can sit on one of the two decks, both of which have views of the ocean and both of which are so close to the beach that you can easily hear the breakers. It was a pleasant walk to take our grandchildren to Scoop's for ice cream and we found Rick's for breakfast and both Sunset PIer on 86th Street and Mike's Seafood restaurant downtown to be excellent choices for dinner. The former is particularly good as sunset approaches since it is on the bay and you can watch the sun set over the water as you have dinner. Mike's had free mussels on Monday night and is extremely casual. Just remember your table number when you place your order. We visited in September and found excellent end of season sales as some of the stores on the promenade. The ocean water was a pleasant temperature. We also liked the fact that the town seemed to clean the beach overnight every night. It was freshly raked every morning. The rental property itself had everything we needed, including WiFi and cable TV with HBO. I highly recommend this property. Another local attraction I recommend is the Cape May County Zoo. It is open every day of the year except Christmas. We were shocked at how many animals were there: lion, giraffes, bears, giant tortoises, alligators, countless birds, a reptile building. And the admission is free, although they do ask for a donation at the gate which we gladly gave them.

Terrific especially if you have children since there are no streets to cross to get to the beach! Such a quick walk back from the beach if you forget to bring anything too! (Magazine, snack, drink, etc. or just to cool off.) Our favorite thing is relaxing on the decks in the morning with coffee & watching the waves - a wonderful way to start the day. We hope you stay with us again next year.

Owners and House Top Notch

My family decided last minute to have a summer vacation at the beach. I had heard a lot of good things about VRBO, we were familiar with Sea Isle City, and decided to try to see if we could match a house with our week off. We contacted the owners about their property and got an immediate response. A few friendly emails later and we felt confident to rent from the owners. One thing that we really liked about the owners was the pride they have for their property. It is very well maintained and neatly kept.They insisted we enjoy their place and asked us to respect it in return.

We kept in contact throughout two weeks until the day of our arrival. The owners were very personable and willing to answer any and all questions we had. To our pleasant surprise we were able to meet the owners as we arrived for our stay. They had stayed for the weekend, were leaving as we arrived, and were all too willing to make sure to tell us about the local hotspots and specifics of the house. Extremely nice people and we are glad to have been able to meet them in person. We had a fantastic week. Everything needed for a memorable vacation was available in the house. Plenty of kitchen items, cooking appliances, cold air conditioning, comfortable beds and furniture and a great location with friendly neighbors and a short walk to the beach. This was our third trip to Sea Isle and by far the nicest part of the beach.

Sadly the week went too quick and I sent the owners an email telling them how much we appreciated their place and our plans to be packed and out the next day. We were contacted back with a friendly email saying they were glad we enjoyed it so much and even offered to let us stay a few more hours beyond our agreed check out time. Unfortunately we had to leave when specified, but appreciated their hospitality that was above and beyond necessary. The owners take great pride in the house and it showed. My family and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting an extremely nice place to vacation. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and meeting them in person only backed up the feeling we got from the emails. Hopefully next year when we decide to take a vacation and this place is available again.
