Why Owner chose Top of the Hill
This property has it all! You can go to the heart of Newport, or spend quieter time with family and friends right in the home itself. Built in 2002, the home was completely remodeled in 2013 with a brand new kitchen and master suite, and re-wired and decorated to update it. If it feels like a new home, that's because many of the features - such as the pool area - have been redone for comfort and beauty.

Salt Water Pool, Amazing Views, Sprawling Living Space
Like the other reviewers, we took a group of 30 something ladies for a bachelorette weekend. We had a fabulous time! One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that the pool is not chlorine, it's a salt water pool which I was blown away by (it also is heated). I just find a salt water pool so much more spa like :). We walked in the house and our jaws dropped. The house is beautiful and there is everything you need there. Just bring your food and drinks! We took 7 ladies which mean everyone had a bed with one on a pull out. Really it can even fit a few more than that depending on what makes you and the owner comfortable. The master bedroom is to die for! It has a King bedroom and the bathroom of the master has the best views in the whole house. There is a massive walk in closet in the master that literally all 7 girls could change in, especially those of us sleeping in the loft that had a little less privacy. I could have spent every day at the pool, but it was about 15 minutes away from town so we just all hopped a Orange taxi to town and had a blast there as well. My only complaint was that there wasn't more time for us there. I intend to return! The owner is also extremely easy to work with and right on hand if you need anything.
Went down with a group of 10 guys for a long weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The house is incredible and the views out the back are amazing. We slept all 10 guys perfectly fine. The master suite is incredible as is the master bath. The pool was equally as nice and we spent a good deal of time enjoying the nice weather there. We golfed twice at Newport International which was only a 7-8 minute ride for the house and the course was a lot of fun. Little ways from Newport bar scene but we all piled in cabs which we would have done if it was a 5 minute ride anyways. Liz the homeowner was very helpful and extremely inviting. She made sure our stay was as enjoyable as it possibly could be. I have rented a number of times off of VRBO but none of my experiences have been half as nice as this was. Highly recommended!
We stayed here with our bridal party for our wedding weekend. The photos don't do the house justice--every room is spotless and tastefully decorated, the open living area and kitchen are a pleasure, and the outdoor decks and pool are just spectacular. Can't wait to return someday!
Thank you for your comments. We are so happy you had a great wedding weekend and enjoyed the house. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Stayed at this home for a girls weekend. There was plenty of space and everything was new and updated. Our favorite part was the built in pool with slide. We stayed there and floated around every day. The owners provided everything for cooking and all essentials, we just brought food and our luggage. Owners responded quickly to any question we had and we very helpful. It's about a 10-15 ride into Newport and the cabs are very reasonable. We had a great time.
This beautiful, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home overlooks the Sakonnet River to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, as well as nature trails, and neighborhood and public beaches. The house is located near the Newport Polo fields and within a short drive to famous Bellevue Avenue, location of many turn-of-the-century mansions, and other Newport attractions, such as restaurants, wineries, and other cultural and historical sites and events.
