About the property

Bedrooms 2, Bathrooms 2, Sleeps 6

What city comes to mind when you think of an urban center with incredible food, vibrant character, and gorgeous natural scenery? Denver, right? Well, even if the Mile-High City wasn't the first to come to mind, it certainly will be after you spend a few days exploring the charm and culture in Denver. With something for everyone, whether you're a history buff, art enthusiast, cocktail connoisseur, sports fan, or just trying to keep the kids entertained, Denver is sure to show you a good time.

If you're searching for a spacious home base with plenty of privacy, convenient amenities, and stylish decor touches, you've come to the right place. This fun-yet-functional Stay Alfred on Little Raven is all about making your stay classy and comfortable. Plush living room furniture, a large dining table, and a cozy fireplace make the apartment feel like home, or possibly like the home of your dreams. We've even got a washer and dryer in the unit, fast WiFi, and a fully-equipped kitchen, so you can get as domestic as you want to, or you can kick back and binge on your favorite Netflix show. No judgement here! Remember, this is your place in the city.

Your 2 bedroom, 2 bath Stay Alfred on Little Raven:

King-size bed that's just asking you to stretch allll the way out.

Queen-size bed in second bedroom, because sharing is only caring if it's kept to the right amount.

Queen-size pull-out sofa, which is so comfortable as both a bed and a sofa, we wonder if maybe it's a Transformer and has some special powers.

Two full bathrooms so you and your companions can skip the fighting over the shower - mornings are tough enough as they are.

Air conditioning, because nobody likes working up a sweat on a hot summer day, then coming inside to a room that's just as hot.

Convenient in-unit laundry so you really only need to pack one set of clothes; but, your fellow travelers will appreciate if you at least bring one other set.

Cozy fireplace in the living room so you can enjoy that crackling sound without playing the “Yule Log” YouTube video.

Fast and free WiFi so you can keep up with all of your 21st century habit while enjoying the age-old fire sounds.

Cable TV so you can keep up with the latest political headlines.

Newly-renovated kitchen with beautiful stainless steel appliances, which you can use to cook every meal, or you can leave untouched. Your vacation, your way.

Now, we're just as excited as you are to book your one-way ticket to Denver, but let us tell you about the building first. Do you like drinking coffee, sitting by the pool, having a barbecue, staying in shape, or admiring modern decor? If so, you'll find at least one amenity that speaks to you here. The contemporary gym and yoga room might even make you enjoy working out, or maybe you'll discover a newfound appreciation for gorgeous wood paneling. Either way, your stay in the Mile-High City will be off the right start at this Stay Alfred on Little Raven.

Building Amenities:

Fully-equipped fitness center with cardio machines, weights, and a yoga room that you might want to nama-stay in all day.

Lobby coffee bar, because the only thing better than a strong cup of coffee in the morning is a strong cup of coffee that doesn't require a step outside.

On-site and street parking for compact cars, so you can enjoy your Denver trip without worrying about whether or not you'll find a parking space when you come home from a day out.

Swimming pool and jacuzzi in an outdoor courtyard where you can soak up the rays on warm summer days. We just wish it could turn into an ice rink in the winter.

Two gas grills so you won't run out of room when cooking burgers to feed your hungry teenagers, or at least people with teenager-like appetites.

Comfortable tables and chairs around the grill and pool area, so your pool party can be elevated to a pool-and-picnic fiesta.

Colorful, four-story LoDo building with that trendy, urban vibe that might make you wonder if there are any vacant apartments you can permanently move into.

You don't deserve to settle for a shared room, a less-than-ideal location, or a place with none of the convenient amenities you're used to at home. Here at Stay Alfred, our goal is to give you a true home while you're away and a place where you can relax in style. Your privacy and comfort is our top priority, and that's just what you'll find when we welcome you into our spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Stay Alfred at Little Raven. The spacious floorplan is perfect for groups of friends, family members, or colleagues, and the amenities may even make your apartment one of the highlights of your Denver trip. With lightning-fast WiFi, in-unit laundry, and a full kitchen, you can spend your time enjoying the highlights of the Mile-High City and less time struggling to find enough quarters or trying to decide on a take-out place. Although, there are so many delicious take-out places nearby that you may still spend a fair amount of time deciding. (Need a recommendation? Just ask us. We're a little more personable than Siri.)

Located smack-dab in the middle of trendy Lower Denver (aka LoDo), you'll be within walking distance to tons of things to do, see, eat, and drink. Most Denverites say LoDo is their favorite neighborhood, and we totally see why that is. With fascinating attractions and charming character, like Commons Park, the Pepsi Center Area, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, you'll see firsthand how locals here stay in such great shape. Whether on foot, public transit, or a rented BCycle, you can experience it all from your Little Raven launchpad.

When you visit the 303, you'll probably have about 303 coworkers, Facebook friends, or long-lost cousins who want to give their input on what you should do and where you should eat. Analysis paralysis can take over, which is why we put together a list of our five favorite eateries. Five. We're here to ensure you spend more time eating and less time deciding on a place to go.

Next Door American Eatery - If you're heading out on an adventure from Union Station, or maybe returning from one, Next Door is our favorite spot for a classically American meal of hearty bowls and fresh salads that will please everybody in your group. Whether you visit with friends, kids, or your kids and their friends, there's something for all flavor preferences here. And if not, there's a happy hour that will make your dietary dilemmas fade away, with drink specials from 3 to 6pm and 9pm to close - now that sounds like a happy day!

12-minute walk from your Little Raven doorstep

Euclid Hall Bar and Kitchen - Named after the geometry great, you'll require no math, science, or calculations to determine that Euclid Hall is always a great place to end (or begin) the night. With gourmet spins on classic tavern food like poutine, fried cheddar curds, and a brat burger, this gastropub is the perfect place to line your stomach before a night of drinking or to satisfy your late-night cravings. Their kitchen is open until 1am on weekends. Party on!

17-minute walk from Little Raven, but could be closer depending on which bar you're coming from.

Tamayo - Everybody likes Mexican food, and everybody likes rooftop lounges, so there's not really much we could improve upon at Tayamo. Oh, did we mention they serve a bottomless margarita brunch on weekends? Seriously, not much beats the ambiance and modern Mexican food that Chef Richard Sandoval and his team serve at this Larimer Square hotspot. Maybe just some authentic chicken mole. Wait, that's on the menu too!

17-minute walk toward Larimer Square

Hopdoddy Burger Bar - When the hiking (or the altitude) hits you hard and you need some food you can really sink your teeth into, head on over to Hopdoddy, where you can order a burger as big as your face and a milkshake that will put you on a serious sugar high. In true Colorado fashion, the meat is hormone-free and the bread is baked in-house, so you don't need to feel guilty about all the delicious calories you consume here.

14-minute walk or slightly longer if you're hopping

Komotodo Sushi Burrito - In the most unlikely of cuisine pairings, the Japanese-Mexican fusion at Komotodo turns out surprisingly delicious. Although, maybe not that surprising, considering how both sushi and burritos are incredibly tasty, and any combination of them, by the transitive property, would be incredibly tasty as well. The transitive may not be able to explain, though, why they are so dang addictive! Good thing Komotodo offers a half-priced burrito happy hour every Tuesday and Thursday to fuel our sushi burrito passion.

16-minute walk or 9-minute drive in Larimer Square

Different

I got there early and I was allowed to leave my bags in the room. Good stuff!!

On the first night the gas was shut off due to a gas leak in the building.

I thought the management company could have been more sensitive to this problem.

It was difficult for me to get hold of the management company by phone. Extremely difficult!!! The hold time was crazy ling and messages left went unreturned. They did mention that they tried to reach me but couldn't. I have an international phone.

The place was convient, clean and comfortable. At 6'2" the beds are really low to the ground. A box spring I thought could easly solve that problem.

Nice place overall, management needs work.

Mostly Good ... Some Issues

  • 4 of 5

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment:

Pros:

- 2 bedrooms .... with 2 kids, this was great.

- Apartment much bigger than standard hotel

- Very clean and nicely appointed

- 10 min walk to Union Station / Whole Foods and free 16th street Mall Ride

- Having access to kitchen is great for families

- Extremely quiet neighborhood (although there was activity pretty late into the night on Fri/Sat nights)

- StayAlfred personnel are HIGHLY responsive. Had a couple of things for them and they responded right away and also used text messaging which is quite helpful. thanks!

Cons:

- no black out shades in the bedroom. was VERY bright and hard to sleep in the morning. This is a showstopper for us.

- walls are pretty thin... can hear folks outside easily and quite a bit of noise from people walking upstairs.

- It does require a bit of a walk to get to any restaurants / food. We did not get a car since many other reviewers said this was a problem. was nice not having a car, but a little inconvenient as restaurants required a little walk.

The space was mostly clean and the location was nice.

  • 2 of 5

The step by step instructions were not easy to follow and it was hard to get help on the phone. The batteries to the tv remotes were dead. We had to wait to find the space to get the parking ticket to put in our car, luckily I wasn't alone because my car would've been towed while trying to fine the parking ticket. The parking was xtra tiny compact cars, luckily we drove our mini but Stay Alfred should communicate that the spaces are too small for anything much bigger. We had to ask a resident (who lives at the condo) to help us with directions to the lockbox and to our space. There were no clear signs anywhere. The space fit us well 2 bed 2 bath but overall it was not very accommodating. Would not recommend staying here.

Comfortable Downtown Location

  • 5 of 5

The unit overall was very comfortable for our 5 day stay for four of us. Accessing the unit was easy with the directions. Had everything we needed except kleenex. Excellent location! Very walkable to shopping great restaurants, and breweries. Could hear some road noise in the bedrooms early at night but would quiet down. Was not a show stopper for us . The wireless was spotty and slow at times. Beds were comfortable. Over all a great stay and would definitely stay again.
