About Phil or Stephanie Langley
Phil and Stephanie are locals - born and raised in Southern Maryland. Phil is a coast guard approved, licensed charter boat captain who has worked as a commercial waterman. He has spent many years fishing, crabbing and oystering on the Chesapeake Bay. Their appreciation of country living on the Chesapeake watershed has prompted them to extend the Chesapeake Country experience to their fishing clients and others. Captain Phil is eager to share his knowledge - from catching fish to cookin' crabs!
Why Phil or Stephanie Langley chose Dameron
When the neighboring farm (Phil's parent's home) became available in 2010, the weekly rental idea stepped closer to reality! This property is a compilation of waterfront, pier, large yard, corn/bean fields, and a comfy - well appointed home - complete with beautiful sunsets and tranquil mornings.

Comfortable, cozy three day weekend with good friends!
We had a great three day holiday and enjoyed being in the house very much. The house was spotless when we arrived. We enjoyed the fireplace and appreciated Phil dropping off more firewood for us. Thanks!
Peaceful, clean and comfortable
Chesapeake Charm has all that you need for a restful getaway. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Snacks and drinks in the kitchen make a welcoming arrival. Very cosy during the cold weather this week. Great spaces outside to sit quietly, enjoy conversation and have fun. This little place is a gem right by the water.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to enjoy cozy comfort in c o l d weather. We are blessed with 4 seasons - and the Chesapeake Charm seems to make the best of each of them.
The place was very peaceful and the owners were very accommodating. I would defintely go there again.
Chesapeake Charm is the perfect name.
Phil and Stephanie could not have been nicer. They had crab pots baited with crabs already caught. The cottage was very nice, roomy and clean. Steps left us a nice snack baskets and some produce that tasted great. Even though it was very hot the days we visited, the a/c kept the cottage cool. The two kayaks that were there for our use were great. Lots of herons, osprey and deer. Even saw a ground hog. Everything we needed was there. Thanks for a much needed couple of days. We will be back.
Glad you enjoy it! :o) Look forward to having you visit again!
