A few things we would like to make you aware of

1) The cell service is not great inside the unit. Some people need to go to the patio to get clear service.

We rarely see anoyone from the traffic department in our neighborhood but it is a risk to leave your car all day long

There is all day parking when you cross Geary street 3 blocks away.

3) We live upstairs and have a baby boy that is starting to move around a lot and it can get bit noisy in the mornings after 7am

About Liz and Luis Andarcia

We are frequent users of VRBO and it has allowed us to explore both domestic and international destinations. We love San Francisco and want to share it with fellow travelers. We live upstairs and are a very active family that enjoys all the SF and our neighborhood has to offer. We have a lot of suggestions for places to dine in SF and the neighboring towns. Triathlete with a lot of suggestions on the best places to train in the area. Also, a great location for those who want to compete in any of the marathons or triathlons in the city.

Why Liz and Luis Andarcia chose San Francisco

We love San Francisco and want to raise our family here.

What makes this studio unique

Our neighborhood is a great place to enjoy San Francisco like a local. There are wonderful parks, restaurants and museums within walking distance

Guestbook comments from the owner

I have certainly enjoyed my stay at "the cottage"

It is a wonderful alternative to a hotel room-very warm and homey. Thank you again.

Great little Studio

  • 4 of 5

Great little Studio in San Francisco, stayed here as it was close to an event we were attending. Everything went well when we checked in, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice coffee shops, restaurants and parks near by also.

The only down fall is the wifi is very poor, but not a deal breaker. It is a ways to the touristy areas but just call uber they will be there in no time.

Charming Apartment, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We booked this apartment for our honeymoon and we were not at all disappointed. The unit looks just as it does in the photos. Perfect for just the two of us. Comfortable and quiet (some family noise from upstairs, but nothing distracting). South of the Presidio and north of Golden Gate State Park this place is in a perfect location for walkers like us. We walked everywhere from this place.

Great Place to Stay

  • 4 of 5

Liz and Luis were great hosts. We had some issues with the wifi and cable TV service but after just one text they were able to get everything in working order. The location was great, we were just a couple blocks from a bus line and were able to make use of the transit system. The studio had everything we needed and after we figured out the heating system (again, one text had that issue fixed) we were good-to-go for the indoor climate controls. We would recommend the property to future visitors and will use it ourselves again when we visit San Fran. We actually ran into Luis working in their garage and chatted with him for a bit, very nice guy and was genuinely concerned if our stay was top notch. Almost forgot, the distance to the Presidio was excellent, walking through the area was a great getaway within a big city.
