Full kitchen with new range, microwave, dishwasher,Keurig. B-B-Q grill and patio furniture. A/C units in each room and one built in wall unit in main living area. Spectacular sunsets from the front porch or sitting on the waters edge. Close to restaurants, mini-golf and arcades for the kids.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. This property is NOT family owned! The man next door owns the top floor and RENTS it out. We had 6 people walking around above us. There is NOT 55 feet of unobstructed views as the same neighbor has built a large dock with a large boat right to the center of the property! We had cars parked in front of our two front bedroom windows the whole week. We had to go buy a regular coffee pot as all that was there was a small Keurig. Not everyone wants to buy the little pods for one week! The directiions for using the DVR are wrong. It says to use the aux button. There is no aux button!!! You also have to go through a real estate agent! If you wanted a real estate agent you would not look on Home Away! This house does not belong on Home Away !!! Betsy and Jim

Owner's Response: We are sorry that your stay was not satisfactory. My family has owned this downstairs unit of the two family home for over 30 years so yes it is family owned but we ask people to use the Anderson Agency to handle the rental which we made clear to you upon your initial inquiry. Since this is a two unit home (up stairs and down stairs) my neighbor did buy the upstairs and as you can expect there can be up to 6 residents in either unit at any time which includes cars in front of the house since there are driveways on each side of the house. We tried to offer you a refund for the coffee pot that you bought since we switched to a Keurig because we felt it was easier for our tenants and we did list this in the description but you said it was ok and would take it home. As for the most important item the "unobstructed view", our home is one of a handful on LBI that has an empty lot that we own across the street from the home that tenants can fish off of, relax in chairs on and enjoy the massive bay view. Yes there is a dock and two boats 50 feet away from the bulkhead but there couldn't be a clearer view of the bay, you can even see Atlantic City if you turn your head to the left! Everyone has their perception of unobstructed but a small dock does not block the amazing sunsets and beautiful bay views that occupy 95% of the view in front of our home. We will rectify the DVR instructions since it was an oversight when we upgraded TV's. We have used VRBO as a means to expose our wonderful home to more people than just the local agency and we tell everyone about this up front. There is no change in the price and the Anderson Agency is one of the most reputable agencies on LBI for more than 50 years or so. We hope you find what makes you happy at the same reasonable price of $1975 a week on LBI that comes close to our location and enjoyable home as ours but I doubt you'll find it.
