Why The Owner chose Gulf Coast

I grew up in Holiday Beach and the house was my private residents. It has some of the best hunting and fishing. I really like how private and quite it is here.

What makes this house unique

The lot next to me is a public park. It is a short walk to my other house. The view from the upstairs balcony is of the salt water marsh where the bird watching is great. In the winter time there are Whooping Cranes that feed there

Awesome Stay on Copano Bay

  • 5 of 5

The house was very nice and comfortable .The view of the bay was great. We launched our kayaks from the back yard that was very convenient .The property manager stopped by and told us where the hotspots where.

We landed keeper reds from the dock at night and a couple of legal flounder. That was great can't wait to go back.

Would recommend to anyone that wants fishing get away, bird watching

The house was clean and kitchen supply well.

Look elsewhere

  • 1 of 5

Stay elsewhere, house is in very dated condition for price. Carpet in bedrooms is horrible, full of stains. Kitchen is not equipped at all, and what it has is old and nasty. If tv is important, it is standard def and like everything here outdated and needs improvement for the price. Also the owner should tell renters that during part of the year the water level at the pier is not much over a foot and you cannot fish. Big disappointment as my kids wanted to fish. Also the water heater went out and OH WOW they refunded our last day because it ruined our trip and didn't offer any consolation or say skip the cleaning fees or something. The place is a dump and dirty. You have been warned.

Owner's Response: The items listed where taken care of a month a go. Have rented out the house to half a dozen other renters with no complaints.

Stayed a week here, on Copano Bay.

Found the house superficially attractive, and well furnished, good kitchen, comfortable bed rooms and very nice bathrooms. Plenty of linens and washer and dryer.

Well situated for near by fishing and convenient to more fishing in the regional bays.

House was not cleaned however, used linens left on floor , and clean linens not folded, just stuffed on to shelves. This was immediately fixed by the renter when we called.

Great view wonderful cooling wind, sea birds etc.

Debris from previous tenants under the beds and in two closets, All lawn chairs broken, and unsafe. we bought three chairs for future tenants. Like most coastal houses, prone to weather wear and tear, and this was externally evident.

Nevertheless great fishing, nearby grocery stores And restaurants, and we left the place better than we found it. Had a good time there. Watch out for the slippery marble floor in the basement bedroom, when the condensation forms there, can be dangerous in certain weather. Take your own kitchen towels.

Great Stay in Holiday Beach

  • 5 of 5

The house was even better then it looks online! Amazing views of the bay from the living room with great balcony. Had fun fishing the flats just behind the house, and my friends launched their kayaks next door. Can't wait to go back for another great weekend.

Great Fishing Getaway!!!

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable house with great views and space for the whole family to relax. Housekeeping could have done a little better job of cleaning the surfaces, but after a once-over with some clorox wipes we were ready to go. Bathrooms and bedding were clean and fresh. Loved having the washer/dryer! But, the best part of this rental was the fishing. It was so easy to wade out each morning and evening. We also fished off the dock and the community pier, but we had our best luck wading. We caught plenty of trout and reds on live croaker, including a 26" and 28" red and a 24" trout! We also tried out the community pool, it is small but nice. Had a great week and would rent again.
