Why JOHN KAY chose Gulf Coast

I grew up in Holiday Beach and the house was my private residents. It has some of the best hunting and fishing. I really like how private and quite it is here.

What makes this house unique

The lot next to me is a public park. The view from the upstairs balcony is of the salt water marsh where the bird watching is great. In the winter time there are Whooping Cranes that feed there.

It was another great stay at Heron Haven.

We showed up for check in and met with the property manager John. We chatted about fishing and hunting for awhile then he went on his way and we got situated. Put the boat in at the community launch and had a heck of an evening fishing copano bay. That night we caught countless trout off of the dock under the light in the back. The house stayed cooled off well and was very clean. The kids loved the mounts inside the place as well as the water out back. The view is incredible from this home. By far the best location of any rent house in holiday beach. We will be back again!!

I almost forgot, the crank tower on my boat trailer broke on me Sunday when I got off the water. I called John and told him I had to run to town to buy some straps and made sure I could leave boat in the driveway even though it was 30 min before checkout. He assured it want a problem and when we got back he was there and was more than happy to lend me a hand in securing the boat so I could get it back home and get it fixed.

Truly great!

I always forget to review this place, but it's about as perfect as it can get. Owner & management are always helpful, and if you need any fishing tips, they are there to help. Can't wait to go again...and again....

Awesome Stay on Copano Bay

  • 5 of 5

The house was very nice and comfortable .The view of the bay was great. We launched our kayaks from the back yard that was very convenient .The property manager stopped by and told us where the hotspots where.

We landed keeper reds from the dock at night and a couple of legal flounder. That was great can't wait to go back.

Would recommend to anyone that wants fishing get away, bird watching

The house was clean and kitchen supply well.
