Year Purchased: 1909
About the owner: I'm a retired adult educator who spends his summers in Grand Lake taking care of Anna's Place. For the eight fall, winter and spring months I live in SW Nebraska and build website, do video oral histories and serve on several boards.
Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake, CO, USA:
My family and another one from SW Nebraska purchased the two lots on Grand Lake in 1908 then built a duplex summer log home. It has been in the family every since.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The cottage is only a few feet from the lake with a large unattached boat house that can be used by guests. The lake and mountain view from the front and side porchs is one of the finest on the lake. There is a canoe and a kayak which guests can use. Sunbathing on the dock and boathouse roof are popular with some. Others choose to enjoy the nice weather and just read on the porch.
