The south end of the boardwalk and beach are about 4 1/2 blocks away. Best of all, no need to cross Route 1 to get to the beach.
If you like Dwell Magazine, this might be your kind of place. Great light, gentle cross breezes and simple, efficient design set it apart from other beach rentals.
Decks on two levels enlarge the living space. First deck at ground level is perfect for private sunbathing and a great 'drop zone' for beach chairs, umbrellas and towels after a big day at the beach. The upper screened deck is perfect for post-beach cocktails and family style dinner.
Finally.....there's the outdoor shower. Down a boarded path, the shower is tucked away at the back of the property. It's private, yet open, with a big 'rain' shower head and bench. You'll miss it once you've returned home.
This unit was completely repainted and updated with new beds, sofas and carpet during the winter of 2014/15. Winter renovations in 2015/16 brought renovations to the 1.5 bathrooms with new tile, fresh paint and updated fixtures. For the 2017 season there will be additional emphasis on landscaping and outdoor amenities.
A note about email inquiries: Please don't be troubled if my response isn't immediate. I travel frequently (sometimes to places with sketchy wifi and cell coverage) and often don't get an opportunity to deal with rental questions until evening hours.
Also, please check the availability calendar. I keep it up to date and if the week is blocked out it means a) the unit is already booked by family or friends, or b) I've already cashed a check from someone who is looking foward to a beach week and I don't have any flexibility for those dates.
